My conspiracy theory is that he got played big time. I don't find anything very offensive in the joke and so assume that he was made part of the script for him to erupt like that. Actually it wasn't a eruption but an awkward exchange. Whether hosts didn't know or that part was edited from their script I don't know or the way he said it caught the hosts on the wrong foot. Looking back what's crucial is nnm came out multiple times saying it was scripted while the hosts didn't AFAIK. And no one cleared up anything on the show itself.

Considering nnm had been in the industry for only 2 years or so, it was stupid of him to lose his temper like that so publicly if that's what happened or evil of the hosts not to clarify immediately that the whole thing was scripted.

Both of those things were clearly extremely shocking and not to mention rare!! I am still waiting for someone to find me another incident like this! I found the joke very offensive and there are many that would agree!!!

Omg so anyone that believed it wasn't scripted was dumb according to you. Interesting round about way of getting personal. That must have been a lot of people considering he had to give a clarification afterwards. Again you must be psychic to know so much about people's assumptions. And if common consensus is that people should assume that the audience is not dumb (than find me another incident like this).

SRK does that a lot and then also gives people love. I have been to his live shows and he calls people on stage, makes fun a little bit and then also gives them love. He must really annoy his kids and wife too.

Sometimes he goes way too far and it does look bad later on. I don’t think SSR was offended with the joke but he looked damn uncomfortable or maybe he was at a loss of words as he was a crazy SRK fan.

As far as NNM’s career is concerned, it wasn’t going anywhere before this. Had it been Salman, he would have been doomed.
