This is something we ALL are guilty of doing. Time has come to put a stop on such frivolous mentality! 

All of us have a lesson to learn here. We sometimes do it because schadenfreude, sometimes out of fandom wars  sometimes since nothing better to do and sometimes to feel better of ourselves!

But all times we should step back and reevaluate if it's really needed! I hope this can be minimized if not completely eradicated!

We revel in someone else’s failure because for some weird reason, it gives us validation that our thoughts about them were right “oh I knew it ...I was right all along..everyone bow to my foresight”

as if we are some god level beings predicting and deciding someone’s life/career trajectory / worth

Everyone is mentioning about " mocking and stop talking behind the back", I can't fathom how much these vultures would have made fun and mocked him for ppl to use those words so much. Man it's creepy as hell.
