Ankita Lokhande Is Crying Inconsolably" Reveals 'Pavitra Rishta' Co-Star Prarthana Behere

One would have expected for Lokhande to be in immense shock but everyone has been wondering as to what has been her state of mind since the occurrence. Actor Prarthana Behere, who shared screen space with both Rajput and Lokhande talked about the same.

The industry continues to be in immense shock over the sudden passing away of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, where the actor died committing suicide. Ever since then, Rajput's closest friends and others were present at her funeral that included her rumored girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty. However, one person that has been constantly off the radar since the news broke out is actor Ankita Lokhande, who just wasn't Rajput's first co-star but the duo was also together for six years.

One would have expected for Lokhande to be in immense shock but everyone has been wondering as to what has been her state of mind since the occurrence. Actor Prarthana Behere, who shared screen space with both Rajput and Lokhande talked about the same in an interview with ETImes TV. Just like actor Mahesh Shetty has been close to Rajput right from their Pavitra Rishta days, Behere has also been close to Lokhande ever since, and she not only revealed how inconsolably the latter has been crying but also asked people to stop judging her and Shetty.

She said, "Sushant was very close to me, he considered me as his younger sister because I played Ankita Lokhande's sister in Pavitra Rishta. We would share everything with each other while we were working together. When I left the show after one and a half years of my journey on Pavitra Rishta, he also quit after 3-4 months. In fact, we got our films together. He got his Hindi film Kai Po Che and I got this Marathi film. Our films also released in the same month mine released on February 14, 2013 and his released on February 22. So, our journeys in film industry were very similar. I remember I had invited him for the screening of my film and he had kept a special screening of his film for a few close friends and I was also there. I have seen his growth as an actor."

Opening about on Lokhande not commenting on his demise and Shetty not picking up Rajput's last call, she said, "I can tell this about Ankita, she is devastated and crying like hell, but one needs to understand everyone had moved on in their life. News sunne ke baad woh wahin atki paddi hai... But she has someone in her life now and she has to respect that relationship also. She wanted to go, but everyone knows she is very emotional and sensitive. She is crying and how. When I posted on the Pavitra Rishta group let's go and see Sushant for the last time, then we got to know that only 20 people can attend the funeral."

She concluded saying how Rajput was extremely close to his mother, "Whenever he was with us, he would talk about his mother. He was the youngest after four sisters so he was the most pampered and close to his mother. He couldn't take her death because it was so sudden. He spoke to her at night and morning he learnt that she was no more."

I can't imagine Ankita's state right now. Regardless of their history and how it all ended, losing a past lover with whom you've spend six years of your life to suicide has to hurt like crazy. I can only hope they had both found closure and were on 'okay' terms before this terrible thing happened. All the strength to her. She did move on and find her happiness again and hope she continues on that path.

Also Sushant's fans should stop hounding his girlfriend, exes and the likes with hate comments. They are disrespecting his memory by going after them. Let people he loved and was close to mourn and grief in peace. Social media posts mean nothing.

I don't think for some reason I can ever forget the picture Sushant had posted on his Instagram during their dating days wherein he was kissing her on the cheek and had captioned it as 'stealing a kiss'.

I can't even begin to comprehend Ankita's condition right now. This tragedy is just so big.

I hope, she is doing fine. ❤️

Hope people stop harassing his current and ex-girlfriends and let them mourn in peace.

It is worse to bash ankita. She and sushant build a life together. Even though they moved on, those past moments will always be in her mind and those feelings are always in heart.

She doesn't owe explanation to anyone. She doesn't need to grieve infront of anyone.

I am sure she is hurt as hell but things are not simple as people and netizens think. Your priorities change and new people come in your life. You have to let them go. And you also have to respect your ex's current partner , their family and staying away is sometimes best thing.

But that doesn't mean she is not sad for her ex with whom she shared a long relation and knew him inside out.

I hope she copes up with this loss and dont let haters get to her.

Sushant fans like me have over the years seen Ankita fans filling his insta with hate and only hate and some mocked his mom's death and some wished destruction on him...it's all coming back to me today...how do you think I can ever forget those hateful comments ??? And no I don't care for Ankita to go and bash her....

So sad. And I think he would have wanted Ankita and his friends from his pavrita rishta days to attend his funeral. He obviously had a special place for that time in his life and the people. I would have preferred people who knew him best to attend.

You don't have to forget those hateful comments. If those fans today are not feeling an ounce of remorse, they are inhuman and beyond saving and you don't need to torture yourself with their words. If they had ever mocked his mother's death, do they deserve to be acknowledged in any way? Psychopaths exist everywhere on the internet esp in delusional stan culture who cross lines that are way beyond unethical. Don't give them the power to hurt you, especially today. They are sick in the head and don't deserve your time of the day. For every one of those comments, I am sure he got many good supportive ones too. Let's focus on that. I know it's been hard but let's try.
