Aww I know yaar....bahut nostalgia ho raha hai mujhe bhi aaj ekdum bittersweet wala hi. I have special love for Hona tha pyar ka yeh wala version too.....and somehow once I made this VM on Sushita, the song automatically became associated with them for me....the sense of inevitability in the main line...."Hona tha pyar"....like they were meant to fall in love and it suited so naturally on all those BTS clips of theirs as well as their many performances na?

The thing I used to love about Sushita ke performances were ki how elegantly they danced together....uske baad shaayad hi aisa TV pair aaya hai....they were just totally in sync as dancers even if neither of them were perfectly trained pros. Sushant had the elegance and Ankita used to bring the grace....that is why I loved watching them together. Also, they had such a bindaas madcap vibe together in their BTSs....lol....that is what actually drew me to them.....Archana-Manav toh maine baad mein dekhe....it was these two I liked first😆.

Ekta ki casting instincts were bang on with these two as well😆....a lot of the reason for PR ka success was that she cast the perfect Manav-Archana and that is why the show garnered such a dedicated fan following....I remember during KPC ka promotion tour, the director was mentioning ki wherever they would go to shoot, people would shout and point at Sushant calling him Manav....that was the impact and reach of this character at that time.

aww man this was oh so beautiful ek toh itne khoobsoorat retro gaane uppar se uspe itna nicely done act which had a lot of actual dancing and less gimmicks and end main woh dip pe them laughing was oh so cute

I think I remember this IV....Sushant must have said, "I only had sisters at home so we all read Femina" or something toh response mein Aditya ne bol diya I have brothers and we all read Femina.....lol

wait i thought sushant was trained shamak's institute atleast that's what the news said but anyway that's irrelevant and i agree with how beautifully in sync were they are how lovely these performances have been i honestly don't rememeber such nicely edited and well put together acts anymore tbh.

aww man You should've warned me before hand that this one starts with jahan main matlab yeh toh mujhe hamesha hi melancholy and introspection made main le jaata hai heheh it just has that mood but again lovely

yup sush was like i have always read it caz of my sisters arjun was like my mummy used to read it so adi made that comment😆hahah skinny AK. again not to be rude but it really does surprise me hwo is he still getting work and his cousins while a sush or adi have ran out of opportunities when they were practically launched together & the later 2 had so much more to offer anyday

Sushant had some training in jazz from Shiamak, yes but he mentioned on JDJ that he wasn’t a proper trained dancer otherwise and there were a few limited steps he liked to keep repeating. Lol he mainly picked up whatever he was taught in any performance. What he had basically was natural elegance as a dancer and a lot of dedication and focus. He was also a super creative guy and put a lot of his own inputs into the performances as was obvious on JDJ with Shampa. He was robbed of a deserving win in that season too. Many times he hasn’t gotten a win when he deserved it. Yes there were other successes but all of these injustices did get to him I think.

Like even this Guzaarish performance is creatively choreographed with the input of magic tricks that don’t feel like typical gimmicks and then Sushant has added soul to it rather than going through the motions as most TV actors do in dance performances.

And that is the difference a support system makes. Arjun is an average actor at best but he has a huge support system backing him. Sushant was a better actor than both of them and he struggled the most. Aditya toh has his own laziness to blame warna he has enough connections in this industry to support him.

Like I said, one needs a lot of mental fortitude or a support system to survive this showbiz space. Seems like Sushant didn’t have either so he succumbed. Struggle toh others have also done for many years like Ayushmann and his brother but they had their wives and family here with them so that must have helped them in low periods. Even Irfan used to mention the long phase of bad work he went through in his career but his wife was there to support him, give him positivity to hold on. And later he finally got his due even if it was many years later.

Sushant didn’t have that kind of patience or a support system to help guide him in the dark periods. That is what seems to be the tragedy here.
