I have not watched a single KJO movie nor Salman movie or Sanjay Dutt movie in the theater as I did not want to give my money to watch their movies.

Karan is a very very shallow person but is there any proof that he had planted those blinds against Sushant? People here are so confidently asserting that he is the source of all gossips about Sushant. What's the proof? How do you know it didn't come from some other outsider who was competing with SSR for the same roles? Is all negative PR done by Karan? Have there been no outsiders that do negative PR when it suits them? Or it could be from people who worked with SSR?

There is lots to complain about Karan. One thing he could have done is to offer Sushant another movie to compensate for all the time wasted for "Drive". Karan has a 100 projects going and a failure like Drive would just be a small bump in the road. Not for SSR. But if he was truly a good man, seeing that Sushant wasted a lot of time/effort for his film which turned out to be rubbish due to its director, he could have given him a lead role in one of his movies. Surely, he deserved it.

I think the message we should be taking away is self introspection. I don’t think freebie movies are the answer, or some kind of work related compensation for a movie that Went south is the solution.

I don’t blame Karan, because as we look at this more and more, his issues ran deep. I don’t know, whether more movies would have resulted in a better or longer life for sushant.

But clearly, There is evidence with people speaking out about the evils of gossiping/shit talking and in general lack of representation in BW and opportunity for non- nepo artists. So, I believe, answer lies in improved attitude and better ethics. Stop with the flaunting of gossip gangs, parties where someone or the other is ignored. Stop with the judgemental attitude. Stop contributing to the already toxic work environment. Start holding auditions and give roles on merit, rather than who’s who’s son. There is evidence to support that nepotism kids don’t equal success. And given opportunités, even rank newbies can make a mark.

I agree. But Drive just released recently and we've been in lockdown for a while. Even if they wanted to give him something, it would take time. I remember Shahid Kapoor saying in the past that he's had times where he didn't have work for months and no scripts were coming in. It's an unstable industry. Sushant wasn't alone in going through things like this. It happens to everyone. I remember how much people made fun of Deepika when she sat at home for 2 years because she couldn't find work.

Everyone keeps looking for someone or something to blame but the reality is that Sushant had depression and was being treated for it. It rarely has anything to do with other people. It's a health illness where something is off in the brain. Picking on other people for imagined slights don't help him or other people who are going through something like him. People are bullying others while complaining about bullying!

Agree! Picking on other people wont help...Also this speculations on how others could’ve helped him also aren’t fair...But it seems it is also true that such a talented actor has been sidelined from a lot of projects by the lesser actors than him, because of favoritism....:(

Heck, I even saw one on Juhi Chawla very recently, painting Neetu as some sort of saint for bravely staying at Rishi's side through all his flirtations. Really? After TWO decades? The only possible source at this time for those blinds is the usual gossip clique.

The mean girl clique of Bolly insiders set out to destroy anyone who could be a threat to their hold on the industry.

But I'm sure they didn't anticipate someone would actually die. Responses to KJo's tweet pointing out his hypocrisy would've been all right. But they're going beyond that to blaming him for the death. This is not about holding him accountable. This has spiraled into opportunistic jabs at KJo for other reasons. People with genuine feelings about this--such as Anubhav Sinha and Sikander Kher--managed to convey their disgust at the bullying and nepotism without targeting another vulnerable person.

What about blind and even direct article targeting someone s sexuality ?? Blind about sniffing underwear ?? Article about being cause of someone s depression and putting them through hell ?? What do you think who spread those blinds ?? When you bring in someone like Deepika and try to pain het as a saint you should know that she is part of this same culture. How are we so sure that these so called outsiders like ranveer Deepika and gang are not part of the people who bullied and mocked Sushant?? Didn't spread blinds about him?? Yes, i'm sure Deepika plants blinds as well. But there is something called fighting your own weight. KJo and gang attacked someone who was not as adequately armed in terms of money and connections. Nor did Deepika (or Shraddha or Farhan or HR who are all insiders) try to destroy someone's career which the KJo clique did. Priyanka being #1 example. They tried with Shraddha... because of her father, I assume.

Outsiders are not saints. But insiders possess the power to ruin lives and careers. Makes a difference.

And the reason why so many are blaming KJo and gang and not the outsiders is that they admitted on TV they do it. The vicious dumbbells actually left audiovisual evidence.

Social media chatter is surely hurtful. But again, Indian Twitteratti doesn't yet possess the power to ruin careers.

I wasn't a big fan of Sushan. On the other hand, I've always liked KJo for his antics 😍😂

But HELL, Bollywood needs to be called on their shitty prejudice towards the TV actors, along with how they are with/towards so-called "outsider stars".
