Excellent updates dear, seriously maan needed a reality check before its too late

ѕнσт 07. ¢ℓσѕєηєѕѕ..!!

Geet was extremely busy nowadays or you can say, she deliberately kept herself busy in other works to divert her mind and even kept herself away from Maan - though it wasn't affecting much to hum, but yes..! Her closeness with Rishabh always made him furious and restless and every time his frustration fall on the poor servants, he scolded them for no reason.

Like every year, Khurana's decided to celebrate Eid grandly and the organization will be done by Geet, and to help her Rishabh joined her. Here Geet got another chance to ignore Maan by keeping herself busy.

"Coffee..?" Dev asked while passing her the cup.

"Oh thanks.." Geet replied with a smile and continue her work.

"So..?!" Dev took sit beside her and having a nostalgic smile on his face.

"So..! What?!" She chuckled giving a look to him and then moved her gaze to the papers in her hand.

"You really don't know what I am talking about?" He asked surprisingly.

Geet sighed and dropped the papers on the table and looked at him asking, "What are you thinking about Dev..? I really don't know..!"

"About Maan bhai.."

"There's nothing left to talk about..." But before Geet could complete her words, she heard him saying, "That Maan.. Bhai is getting possessive about you." Geet looked at him shocked while Dev continued, "And I think, he's developing some feelings for you."

"What rubbish are you talking Dev..? There's nothing like this." Geet said turning away.

"No Geet.. I am serious." And he explained her Maan's every action and reaction whenever he saw Geet with Rishabh. "And even today I saw him yelling at servants with no reasons and I guess because of you and Rishabh."

As Dev said, Geet remembered how Maan told her to move on in life. She connected the dots, as on that day he met Rishabh and his insecurities overtook on him. "Wow..!" She exclaimed in excitement.

Dev looked at her curious, "I never thought in this way Dev. Maan.. Is.. Is he insecure..? Is he jealous..?! Oh my God.." She was excited. The smile, the brightness which was lost in her from last few days, was suddenly came on her face. "Now when I get to know about this side of him.. Now I think, I should torture him some more." She giggled.

"What..!"

"Yes.. This time he will come to me by his own wish." She said smiling while remembering some of their good memories.

"Why did you keep it here?" Geet yelled at her workers when she stumbled with a bucket of flowers. "Take this away." She ordered to her worker.

"Geet, how's going everything?" Param asked while looking around.

"Everything is almost done chotey papa. I called the qawali singers and even arranged everything which will make things look a complete Eid function." Geet replied.

"Okay dear." He smiled and left while Geet engrossed in her works. She double checked all the preparations when suddenly her eyes fall on Maan who was standing upstairs but Geet turned away and smiled. "So, Mr Maan Singh Khurana.. Taking glances of me. Interesting." She smiled.

"Madam what to do with this flowers?!" She heard her worker asked when her trance broke.

"Throw them." She said instantly but looking at the flowers, she stopped him saying, "Keep them here, I will do something with this."

As the worker left, Geet searched some place to decorate and every time her eyes went on Maan, and she felt goosebumps in her stomach under his gaze. "Geet focus.. Nahi toh garbaad ho jayega." She took a deep breath and focused on her work.

She found a place but it was at some height that her hands can't reach there, Geet searched for workers but saw them busy in their respective works when she saw Prateek passing by there. "Prateek??!" She called him.

"Yes bhabhi.."

"Can you help me?! Can you please please them there?" She asked pointing at the place.

"Haww bhabhi.." Prateek immediately made O shaped mouth saying, "Do you think me superman? How will I go there?!" He asked innocent.

"Dumb Khurana." Maan and Geet both uttered.

"Prateek.. Bring some stool or ladder and climb on it and place them." She said calmly.

"You should say like this then.. Dumbo..!" Sighing on her comment, Prateek left to bring a ladder while Geet pouted as Prateek called her 'Dumb', Maan chuckled seeing her expression. Geet looked up to check Maan's presence when she saw him smiling but seeing her staring, he immediately pretend to be busy in his phone.

"He will do everything, but can't accept." She sighed thinking.

"Bhabhi move.." Geet looked on and saw Prateek came with a ladder. He climbed on it saying, "Now give them.." Geet forwarded the bucket, Prateek took the flowers and arranged them randomly.

"Prateek, not like this.." She explained how to arrange them but he wasn't understanding. Accepting her defeat, she asked him, "Come down.."

He climbed down, keeping the bucket on his hand, she said, "When I say.. Give them." Prateek innocently nodded and Geet climbed the ladder.

Seeing her climbing, Maan gets worried, "Stupid girl. Can't she ask someone to do it..! What if she gets hurt..?!" Fuming on her he started coming down.

Geet arranged them beautifully when suddenly she heard Prateek calling Maan saying, "Bhaiya.. I have urgent work, help bhabhi in this." Geet turned to look Maan when her feet slipped.

"Ahh.." Maan ran to save her but she fall on him and Maan couldn't make balance on himself and they fall on floor, Geet was on top of him, Maan's hand was protectively holding around her waist. Geet slowly opened her eyes and they shared an eye lock.

"Pehla pehla pyar hai..
Pehli pehli baar hai.." Maan, Geet flicked eyes to each other and then turned their eyes at the direction and saw Dev singing. Geet blushed but still managed to give him a deadly glare while Maan looked at Geet who was still on his top.

"Arey Dev bhai.. This is a bollywood movie song. I heard it." Prateek passed a comment. "But I don't understand why are you singing this..?"

"Because this song is perfectly suit on this situation." Dev smiled looking at them who were still on same position. "Maan bhai, have you any plan to be like this all the day?!" Dev smirked, Geet looked at Maan and started getting up when she moaned.

"What happened?" Maan immediately asked with concern.

"Nothing serious. Just a small cut." She replied looking at her bleeding hand.

"It's not a small cut." He said taking her hand but Geet took her hand back saying, "I'm habituate. I will manage. Thank you." Saying this she left with a smile as she saw a protective Maan and sad as she behaved rude.

"Look.. She always told me I show her attitude, now what's she doing?" Maan complained to Dev in rage while Geet sighed.

"You stay here. I'll bring the first-aid box." Saying this Maan left from there while Geet came in the hall.

After a while, Maan came in the hall and his blood boiled seeing the scenario. Rishabh was treating her injury. Maan wanted to throw Rishabh away from her but he couldn't, his self statement didn't allow him to do so..!

"Take your good care Geet.. Recently you survived from an accident and now this cut. From when you will learn..?!" Rishabh yelled at her but sweetly.

"Aww.. Rishu..! Why do you even try to be angry on me.. You know you're very poor on it." Geet cutely said and took a look from Maan who was badly fuming in anger but controlling his anger, he left.

Geet and Rishabh laughed when Dev joined them and looked at them curiously when Geet said, "I told everything to Rishabh but I never thought I would start my plan so early.. Poor Maan.." She chuckled.

"But Geet, don't drag it long. Maan is really very hurt." Rishabh suggested.

"I know and understand but this time I will make him aware about his feelings and that's my promise to myself. He kept me wait for long and it's his time to pay back everything."

"But it was worth watching to see him getting jealous." Dev laughed.

Finishing all her works, Geet went to the room, she was climbing the stairs while her mind was fully occupied by Maan, she was thinking about Dev's words on Maan's jealousy, she even witnessed the scene when Rishabh was treating her injury, Maan went all red in anger. With his thoughts, She opened the door and about to step in, at the same time Maan was about to go out, they collide and Geet fall in his arms. Geet immediately straighten up, composing herself.

"Sorry..!" She mouthed and passed by him when she heard him saying, "You should be." Geet turned at him but didn't argue with him, as she knew herself well that if she argued, she will go weak. She left giving him 'not so interesting' look. Maan left the room fuming as he can't digest her ignoring.

Geet walked out from the washroom after getting ready when she heard a knock, "Geet get ready fast and open the door." She heard his husky voice.

"One minute Maan." Placing the dupatta on her shoulder properly, Geet opened the door. "Come.."

Maan was dumbstruck seeing her in red salwar suit, he couldn't move his eyes from her. Geet turned at him and blushed under his gaze but composed herself and snapped her finger saying, "I know, I am looking beautiful, but that doesn't mean you'll stare at me like cheapde."

"Just.. Shut up." He said irritated. "You know I don't like this words."

"So..?! It's not my problem Maan.. I was changing myself for you but when you aren't accepting me then why would I change myself..? Right..?! Anyways get ready fast." Saying this she went near to the mirror while Maan stood there shocked and hurt.

But shrugging his thoughts away, he went inside and saw the black kurta set placed on the bed, he once looked at Geet who was busy in her works. "Sometimes behaving like stranger but never forget to do wife's duty. I don't need her favor." He thought looking at her and went to take another kurta.

Geet, who was busy in her make up still managed to notice Maan's anger. "I know you won't wear it. My reverse psychology works." She smiled victoriously while thinking, before opening the door for Maan, she choose a kurta for him but at the same time she realised he's angry with her, so he won't wear it, so she kept another one in it's alter.

Geet looked through corner of her eyes and saw him taking the one which she actually choose before, she smiled happily.

Maan walked out from the washroom after changing and stood before mirror to check himself but as Geet was still standing before the mirror, he couldn't see himself. "If you are done then move."

Geet looked at him through the mirror and moved aside while wearing her ear ring, Maan gets busy in grooming himself when he heard her moaning, he saw her struggling with her hair which was stuck in her ear ring, she tried to free her hair but it gets more tangle with her ear ring.

"Ouch..!" She moaned in pain again.

After several attempts she couldn't get success when Maan walked to her. "Wait." He said holding her hand and went behind her, he slowly put her hair on her opposite shoulder, in this process, his palm touch Geet's back.. Feeling his warm touch, Geet shivered, a cold sensation went through her spine.. Though Maan was aware about his act but didn't react on it, instead of he enjoyed seeing his impact on her. He looked at Geet through the mirror and saw her standing with her closed eyes, with a smile on his face, Maan free her hair. "Done." Geet opened her eyes and moved away from him. There was an awkward silence between them but after a minute Geet thanked him and left the room.

Geet smiled with a blush on her face, her face turned crimson red thinking about the moment, other side Maan was also happy to see her getting affected by his touch but still confused about this feeling. He turned towards the mirror and saw himself smiling, he reminisced their moments when he felt his racing heartbeats, he placed his hand on left side of his chest wondering, "What's happening with me..??!" But he has no answer of it.
