Neo-Nazis/ White supremacists are probably one of the biggest threats to the democracy right now along with ISIS, Taaliban, Al Qaeda, Boko Haram but they don’t even get half the media attention as the other three because it doesn’t fit the Western media narrative.

Neo Nazis are evil, but they don't have 1/10000th of the worldwide reach or power that Islamic fundamentalists do. Who exactly are we kidding with that false equivalence?

Also, everyone knows Bin Laden's origin story. Was a chief mujahid who along with the Taliban got trained to kick out USSR troops from Afghanistan in the 80's. US imperialism has often nurtured and strengthened Islamic radicalism for its own benefits just like how it aided the Islamist rebels in Syria before ISIS emerged.

However, that doesn't take away from the fact that the terrorists who rose to prominence and power this way were ISLAMIC radicals who believed in turning the whole world into Dar-ul-Islam. They might have been aided by the USA, but they're still Islamic extremists whose inspiration and motivation comes from the radical Wahabi/Salafist ideology, the source of which is in Islam itself.

That’s why I said in one of my replies above that they are not a Global threat yet but their influence is growing . They are emboldened by people like US president who condemned them after only people pressured him to do so. If US, UK etc continue to shift to the right, then Neo-Nazis will gain more power and cause a Third World War . A Republican Congressmen Steve King even went to Germany to socialize with Nazis 🤢 .

Donald Trump’s father was member of infamous White Supremacist group Ku Klax Klan . It’s amazing that Ku Klax Klan hasn’t been declared a terrorist group yet despite terrorizing African Americans since decades.
