The clips are amazing dear!
The actress was on point. However, I liked the first clip better.
I liked the approach she took and that she acknowledged she had to share A with P.
In an ideal scenario, a lot of troubles could be avoided if only mother's had taken this sportingly.
But somewhere I felt, may be something drastic had happened and Avantika said this. Then again, I would have preferred if she had taken this decision alone and not inform P.
Because sooner or later, all become independent. But we do feel that if we falter, our parents will catch us. So suddenly telling, I am taking a back seat is a bit alarming for anyone.
What I want to say is, taking a back seat was okay but announcing it wasn't may be a good choice.

Thanks for sharing your views. Don't we always say the space thing?
Yes, it's practical and interesting.
So I totally loved both clips and message is brilliant. How do you not announce and make a choice, tell me? Like if both couples are going to stay separate, she has to announce it right, and transparency is the key. Drastic she must have felt, they are not getting their time and took a call, it's not easy for her too, if you see the bond with her son.
She was ultimately a well wisher. Of course we depend and she was always there for support, which she mentioned. About telling suddenly, no she didn't, earlier too, she did tell them to have quality time.
Yes, ofc Mansi is brilliant in acting.

We do!
About the sequence, I am not saying Avantika isn't a well wisher. I have no idea regarding what they had shown earlier. So I might miss some points.
Transparency is the key - yes! But sometimes it's better when you don't make it public because the choice of words and how you are delivering it has a huge role to play and the other party may get alarmed.
There was one such incident in the show I am watching now and I'll discuss on that later in detail.
About Avantika's stand, sometimes you may feel you are hogging all the space and you can take a step back, as long as you have that clarity that now your son needs more space. Giving space doesn't necessarily mean you have to move out. You can have tea and a light conversation like it's necessary that they too start thinking about their future and you need rest - in the light way. I felt YHM did a great job on that aspect when Ishita was undermining Aliya's decisions and Toshi gave both of them a demo.
Here you openly ask your bahu who is a Mahatma in a tone like this - it sounds a bit cold and extreme.
Otherwise Avantika was bang on!
