We were close till last year. I dont know what happened. I got busy and didn't keep contact for like a year, thought still met him time to time.

But it hurts bcoz i shared so many things with him and i miss him. But now i prefer my self respect bcoz i dont wanna keep one sided friendship. Maybe someone told him something. Atleast he should clear what's the problem? Anyways we met, last month and there were 2 other friends. He was sarcastic throughout. I felt it was unnecessary and quite stingy. So should i end it? Mess my friend circle keeps getting smaller

Just ask him directly for a last time what's wrong and what happened?? If he shares with you or open up then cool otherwise its time to let them go.
