EXACTLY. Ravish and his whole family were such pukeworkthy people 🤢. It was cringe the way everyone expected Vividha to forget someone like Atharva and love the hlier than thou Ravish. Like why? I was so happy when she actually yelled from the top of her lungs that her only husband is Atharva, OMG she even follows the rituals of a widow of Atharva even though she was married to Ravish. I really loved this show. Forever Atharva sujata <3

When me and Deepak In KZK Forum reiterated the fact that his dialogue delivery is soulless as if he is reading text from book we were mocked for not understanding subtlety..and we are used to OTT acting of TV and do not understand restrained understated performance s 😔 MATLAB KUCH BHI 🤣

TBF, Tarun Dhanrajgir who played Rahul aka Darcy was quite good..handsome (80s tv standards😆) and a competent actor, Rekha aka Lizzie Bennet and Rahul complemented each other well, good chemistry too...all the actors did well, good acting, good dialogues (shudh hindi very rare these days) and no unnecessary darma - very concise.

The mother could have been toned down at parts (she irritated me) but other than that, it was as good a version as it could be of Pride & Prejudice rhat too from the 80s.

Off to watch Kashish!

Have folks watched Haq se? Wish there was more of Rajiv in it.. I loved it initially but towards the end got depressing

Ekta and her team know how to give us good stories but then they kill it with lots of dragging and convoluted plots. That’s what happened with KTH. And then we all see the disaster it was. Marrying a dude twice her age. Her maniac sister....all just awful.

I think I like Ekta's stories and casting better than Gul, in case of Ekta, at least her shows stay very good for the first year, at least her older shows, if you consider shows made by Ekta till tere liye or YHM, now a days she has been making stale shows like KKB and all, which never looked promising from the beginning too.

With KTH, Ekta's ego made her run the show for 2 more years after Rajeev's exit and I am so glad that after 17 years we are still claiming that how Rajeev's exit made the show soulless and it seemed like a different show altogether. Even Ekta herself believe it, I am pretty sure.

Mainly the biggest turn off was that forum since fans of the Balika Vadu guy started supporting the pair and left no stone unturned with bashing Atharv. They just didn’t understand that the audience grew to love and ship the main leads, so any unnecessary love triangle was not welcome - especially since Atharv’s character was already pretty much close to perfect.

Vikram was legit marvellous as Atharva, as I told earlier I was surprised that I was liking a show and especially both the leads had such flawless characters, Atharva was just so perfect, he never questioned Vividha, his sad childhood, his love and sacrifices, I was such a fan of the show. I loved it more when Vividha leaves her forced husband after Atharva returns, without any guilt or regret, there was no hesitation when it came to choose Atharva, she was always clear that the only man who can love her, touch her or even be in her mind was Atharva. I use to love those dramatic confrontations between Atharva and Vividha's father, some mind blowing acting and dialogues were churned out in those scenes, JNDSD is a classic.

If ou have time then you can watch Ek Deewana Tha too, Vikram was amazing in this show too even though the plot was not very great, but he stood out as the psychopathic obsessed lover. even there used to be huge fights between Namik fans and Vikram fans, but I guess at the end I believe Vikram's character was the main attraction of the show. It is just my POV.

That sequence after Atharv got beaten up, Vividha dialogues was so powerful especially this line in that scene...

"Lekin agar Atharva nahi bacha to waisi hi tabaahi hogi. Fark sirf itna hoga ki tab pralay Shiv ji le kar aaye the aur aaj taandav main karungi"

@bold: I cried in that episode man, It was too heart breaking to see that separation, it was brutal, and the media was claiming that Atharva will die and Vikram will be sidelined, I was so sad about this that even vividha might fall for her new husband, thank god that the popularity of the show and the channel's support did not make the writers remove the original plot, it was a love story of Atharva-Vividha and it stayed like that till the end.

Vikram was new in the TV world, Atharva was his break through role whereas Shashank was already coming from Balika vadhu, so everyone thought Vikram will be sidelined, but it did not happen, sometimes genuine talent overpowers popular belief, and I believe that Vikram's acting poweress won over the makers so Atharva stayed till the end. I did not like Ravish, no matter how good he was, he was always a third wheel for me, never even enjoyed his scary family, like psyscho mother, killer grand father, spineless father, like WTH, they all wanted to kill Atharva just because vividha loved him, how crazy was that family.

Ekta has ruined almost all her characters anyway. 😆 But we get joy seeing our fav actors & actresses onscreen. Even better when your fav actors are cast opposite your fav actresses.

So if Rajeev did not want the Bajaj role, if approached. Then just take the next best actor.

But too late now. Ekta might as well wrap up KZK2 & stick to doing only web series rather than long shows that keep dragging on. Web series platform is much better these days. We get to see new jodi's & short stories.
