Fially a new chapter !!! And what a chapter (at least something good really happened during this whole scary time.)

Though it has been such a long time I thought maybe i will have to read the whole book again to again revive that connection with the character but you proved me wrong. Your writing was seamless i never for 1 moment felt that it has been 2-3 yrs since i have read this story.I was instantly connected to it so kudos to that !!

I really felt all the emotion you wanted us to feel.

At first Jalaal talked to Jodha and explained the whole idea behind wanting her to talk to Deepali Bhabhi. Even though she felt odd talking to someone she didn't know she still agreed to talk to her as she understood his worry and point of view. She felt so loved knowing that he thinks so much about her and worries about what she might need even when he isn't there.

“I'll give the phone to Bhabhi now ok!”

“Wait wait….” Jodha spoke loudly and hurriedly.

I can actually see her panicking here 😆

“Thank you, thank you so much” She paused a bit then continued “I really appreciate it Bhabhi!!” Jodha replied feeling very grateful.

i loved how she paused and was hesitant before calling her Bhabhi. It made it more realistic and relatable.

Jalaal smirked before whispering “Because when you come to the Airport with me, it certainly won't be to send me off, you will also be flying away with me, not sending me off, I'm not leaving you here again and going by myself. No way I'm going to let that happen” he cheerfully replied.

This made me giggle and blush like i was a teen again. ☺️

I also loved how you took your time with depicted all the jodha's insecurities, doubts and worries. There was depth to her emotion.

“Hi Jaan!!” he whispered.

haaye....☺️

“I will come back for you.” He said determined.

“I know” she smiled.

“Wait for me”

“Always”

Silence engulfed them. They both knew they needed to hang up but both didn't really want to.

This hurts !!!

“Does she love you too??” came her first question.

“Will she wait for you??” simultaneously came the question from his Brother in law.

“Yes and yes” he replied looking at them happily.

I loved this scene my only problem with this is ( and m nitpicking ) jalal's reply seems bit too quick i mean i feel something missing and again m nitpicking

The most difficult journey of their life started.

Teaser for Chapter 40

Finally it was around 6.30pm, she excitedly sat near the phone ready to pick it up the second it rang. Finally she would be able to hear his voice, any moment he should call.

7 pm - No call yet…..She started getting anxious.

7.30 pm - Still no call…… her enthusiasm level started going down.

All day it felt like time was moving so super slow, but now it was exactly opposite, time was running like crazy. With each passing minute she was getting worried. 'Why hasn't he called yet?? Did he reach there ok?? Did his friend pick him up on time?? Hope there is no problem.'

8 pm - Still waiting……

8.30 pm - Nothing…..

As the time moved forward she became more jittery and worried. 'Did he get too busy with his friend and his family?? Has he forgotten to call me?? Will he call me??' insecurities ate at her.

She tried to keep it together, “There must be a reason, he can't forget. I should just wait.” She told herself and tried to stay positive, really tried. But with time her positivity was slipping away. Her mind was running in all negative directions. 'Did something happen to him?' she worriedly thought. Her heart constricted at her own thoughts.

By 9.15 pm she was full on panicking……

'What should I do?? How should I find out?? Where are you??' She was getting really scared now.

She contemplated calling his family but then she thought how could she ask them, what will she tell them about who she is?
