Why no ones talking of Kunti and her faults?

First she gives birth to Karan and abondons him

When she realize Karan is her son she never reveals to him or her 5 sons truth because her honor more impt than Karans life

Than she forces Draupadi to be shared among 5 brothers so they stay together

But all finding fault with Karan only not Kunti at all

I think its not just because if herself, its for her other sons as well.

Its not like Karan doesn't have parents, he had a better and a peaceful home.

But then Kunti isn't being glorified by anyone right? 😆 No one is praising Kunti for her wrong deeds like Karn gets supported even when he even calls a woman a w**** & encourages others to strip her naked.

We judge Arjun based on the Dwapar Yuga rules that he could not speak up against Elder Brother, because that was the norm back then. But we would judge Karna's comments on calling Drau a 'w****' based on today's times because that is what is convenient to us😆. A woman being married to 5 men WAS an unusual event and based on THOSE times, Karna's words would not seem out of place.

Not supporting his encouragement in disrobing Drau, that was disgusting. But one can clearly see how much the 'abhimaan' of Kshatriyas bothered him by then. That happened due to multiple taunts and resistances from this same group in various occasions. I follow KMG, so I would take that Drau's comments, Arjun and Bhimsen's repeated comments on his caste indeed happened. So it doesnt matter how loving his parents are, the caste did bother him, because the 'proud' Pandavas made sure one never forgets that, which was disgusting. So it's not a question to Karna that 'why don't you settle with your parents', rather the question is to the Pandavas, that why don't they let one be with their caste, why did they everytime have to bring his caste into the picture whenever it clashed with Karna's 'ucchakaankshya'.

I am not fond of Yudhi but kindly think before equating listening to Yudhishthir to calling someone a wh0re publicly. Yudhishthir didn't ask Arjun to do anything so incorrect that it makes you guilty of crime. Also, nobody defends Arjun for not stopping Yudhi in dyut sabha, also btw he did speak up. He was the one who said Drau is not a slave because Yudhi lost her AFTER losing himself.

You need to learn up more about the status of women in Early vedic times and how it DETERIORATED. No matter what the age is, calling a woman such names publicly or privately is a crime and honestly if you are defending this stuff saying it's because of the time then I have nothing to say to you.

So just because you get abused you go and do whatever you want? Many in the epic had it worse than him. Just because someone said something about your caste, you don't get wild card to go humiliate a woman, support sexual abuse against her and do so much more wrong which happened way before Karna was ever said anything about caste.

He was a part of poisoning BHEEM as a CHILD. He was part of Lakshagriha conspiracy. Since you follow KMG, take a while to read all this. Karna was very much Drona's student. Also, kindly note that Suta is not a low caste to begin with. It is a Brahmin-Kshatriya caste, a subcaste of Kshatriyas only.

@bold - LOL. Vyasa himself came and told Kunti and Pandavas that Drau would be married to all five. They only did what was said and YUDHISHTHIR is the one who suggests all 5 marry her that too AFTER Arjun denied his offer of marrying Drau alone. Kindly read.

Also, this thread is about Karna. What makes you think people will discuss anyone other than him here? Also, finding faults? Karna was a spoilt brat who knew nothing but to yell about his misfortunes like that gives u a card to do wrong stuff through out your life. He is worse than Duryodhan. Period. This is exactly the reason why Karna pisses me off...the extreme glorifying and making him out to be wronged poor bechara fellow which he's not. He got exactly what was coming to him.

Give me the character of Duryodhana any day... At least he is what he is and doesn't claim to be anyone mahaan.

I shudder to think what terrible lies must be shown in Suryaputra Karn show.

Duryodhan accepted what he was, he never portrayed himself as someone wronged and did not justify his actions with i was wronged this way and that way. I hate crying characters who think something wrong happened to them is an open chit for them to do whatever and justify saying "because of the pain he faced". I will take villains like Joker, Duryodhan, Cersei/Baelish, Thanos, Moriarty anyday over these so called tragic figures.
