"Hello my boy. Kaise ho?"

As soon as Rishabh heard the voice he turned towards the side from which the voice is coming. He couldn't see anyone because the whole house was bathing in darkness. As he scrunched his eyes to have a glimpse of the man he saw a shadow in the light which was falling on them. Suddenly the lights were turned on and there stood a man in his sixtees. Prerna and Kukki were clueless who the man could be but Rishabh's eyes dilated in shock.

"Dad", he could say this much only. His mind were clouded with confusion, and an unknown anxiety and fear by then.

As soon as Prerna heard what Rishabh uttered she turned towards the man and looked at him in shock.

"Dad, Rishabh's Dad. Why did he kidnapped us? What does he wants?" She thought.

Here Rishabh was speechless. His mind went numb. He couldn't think more. His disturbing childhood started flashing infront of his eyes. He looked at Prerna and Kukki. He closed his eyes to gather some strength and courage.

"I can't be weak now. I have to fight my past to keep my present alive. I can't be weak. I Can't be." He thought and opened his eyes and stood up.

The man who was looking at him all the while now had a cruel smile on his face. He sat down on a nearby chair, lit a cigar, put one of his legs above another and stared at Rishabh again with a tough look.

"So, my boy has grown up so much. He is the Rishabh Bajaj now. My genes worked. What say?" And laughed out loudly.

"You... bloody". Rishabh was going to hit him when a cry stopped him. He turned towards his family to see that Kukki was very much frightened and hugged Prerna.

"Meri granddaughter toh dar gayi. Kaise Papa ho tum apne bacche ko darate ho. So bad, so bad. Toh aj hum sikhenge ki bacchon se kaise baat karte hain. Mission Ways to talk to Kids is on Rishu. Bachpan ki tarah khelna chahoge?" He said and smirked. He knew Rishabh will suffer again after remembering those traumatic days and he wants exactly that.

Rishabh as soon as he heard about the mission his hands started to tremble. He tightly closed his eyes and his palms to ward off those thoughts. He have to fight his Dad and he can't be weak. He is not a child anymore who can be threatened again. Rishabh when opened his eyes and saw his father was forwarding towards Prerna and Kukki. His protective instincts kicked in and he literally jumped and pushed his dad away from his family.

"Nooo" Rishabh screamed. "I warn you khabardar meri family ki taraf aankh uthakar bhi dekha na, accha nehi hoga apke liye". He warned in rage.

"Calm down my child. Tumhari family kya meri family nehi hain. She is my pyari granddaughter and Prerna, my Daughter-in-law." He eyed them and smiled with cruelty dripping from it.

"Bohot pyar karte ho na inse. Bilkul apni maa ki tarah. Apno ki fikar, apno ki suraksha blah blah... all backdated feelings and emotions leke chalte ho tumlog. Arey mujhse sikho how to enjoy the life. " He suggested.

Rishabh smirked a little, " haan haan isi enjoyment ke chakkar mein you went to jail. We are happy devoid such enjoyments ."

"See I said no my genes worked. You know how to keep calm in tense situations." He said while pouring himself a drink.

"Why did you kidnapped my family. Unke zariye mujhe bulaya. Kiyu?" Rishabh spat in anger.

"Hmm... kiyu bulaya tumhe? Bas tumhe takleef dene ke liye. Tumhe yaad hain tumhari gawahi ke wajah se mujhe jail huyi thi. Tumhari wajah se I lost 26 years of my prime aur tum puch rahe ho ki kiyu?" He threw his glass in anger. "Tumhe toh yaad hi hoga kya hua tha 26 saal pehle par inn logo ko kuch nehi pata. Inhe bhi pata hona chahiye, bhai tumhari family hain yeh. So, my daughter-in-law..." and he tried to move towards Prerna's direction when Rishabh stood in front of her.

"Don't ", He warned. "She is no one to you. Aur inhe kuch nehi janna. We are leaving now. Chalo Kukki, Prerna chalo". And he held Prerna's hand and as he stepped an inch forward three people like bouncers entered the room.

"Do you think it's so easy my boy. Agar tumlogo ko chorna hota toh lata hi kiyu. Tumhari wajah se maine 26 saal khoye ab mera farz banta hain tum bhi kuch khone ki takleef mehsoos karo. Hain na? Give and take policy you see." His eyes are red now with anger.

"Haan toh main kya keh raha tha ki 26 saal pehle kya hua tha. Toh Prerna tumhara Mr.Bajaj tab Rishabh Mukherjee tha. He used to use my surname then. I am Sanjeev Mukherjee, his father and husband of Malini Bajaj, his mother. "

Prerna was unsure whether she wants to hear his past or not. She too has a past which will always remain as a wound for her and she knows if anyone tries to poke the wounds of the past how it feels. She could see the strong and mighty Rishabh Bajaj a bit shaken for the first time. She knew that he has a dark past which he never wants to share to anyone. She always wished to listen it from him but now someone else is telling her about his past in order to bring him pain, in order to hurt him. She shouldn't hear those. She is happy with his present she doesn't need any information of his past.

"Stop", she said. "Just stop it. I don't want to hear anything. Kya chahte hain aap? Ki main unko judge karu unke past se. Ki unke past ke bare mein jan kar the equations of our relationship will change. Then you are very wrong." She said strongly.

Rishabh looked at her and his eyes welled up.

"Accha let me see what will you say when you hear that he almost killed a person who once gave him an opportunity to earn." He said smirking.

Rishabh is here to protect his family and he won’t let them be harmed. He is stronger now, he wi fight his father for his family. But the last line is giving me tension. Rishu aisa nahi kar sakta, and I hope that Prerna will have that faith in him!

Poor Rishabh, he has to face his bitter past when he is vulnerable as his family is also involved.

He is trying to be strong even though he is breaking thinking about his past.

Rishabh has sent his father to jail & looks like he wants to ruin Rishabh now.

I wish the past doesn't break Prerna & Rishabh.
