And once they started feeling for each other than they will stand for each other, help each other by encouraging each other and this will help them in becoming confident individuals.

Abdullah is not dumb he just lack confidence. He just need his self confidence. The day he start devolping self confidence he would be an independent man. But still i am confused. What's wrong with Mehjabeen? She is dumb. Or her parents never guided her or took her seriously and her mental state. She definitely needs someone who can undetstand her and help her in making her a confident and a wise person and groom her and definitely yeh Abdullah sy acha aur koi nhi kar sakhta.

Waiting for next episode.

yup she doesn't even know that how to become a mother🤔. Is she that naive?? How will she react when Abdullah actually will come close to her??😳

As the episodes go on, it has become more obvious with Mahjabeen's parents. By bad parenting I mean how they haven't taught Mahjabeen anything. Children and youngsters have a huge capacity to learn but Mahjabeen's parents always chalk it up to "massomiyat" and drop it. Like even today Mansoora said that Mahjabeen was sick due to something she ate. Why didn't Mahjabeen's mother question her about why she thought she was pregnant? Why didn't she then explain things to her? Last episode her mother didn't bother to properly hear out Mahjabeenin in regards to Sarwar. She didn't even explain properly why Sarwar shouldn't touch her neither did she explain the difference between good and bad touch. When Mahjabeen got married why did her parents not warn her about Sarwar? They know their daughter is naive so they should explain to her to beware of Sarwar. When parents don't like someone or understand bad intentions they always warn their daughters to stay away from that person. Why did her dad walk out after Sarwar dropped her home? If I was her dad I would have been like did Sarwar do or say anything to you? Instead her dad is like I gotta meet someone and then dips. Her parents clearly didn't take any initiative to get Mahjabeen extra help with school. Not everyone is smart but hard work pays off. A classmate of mine was showing me her artwork; her stuff is so good but then she showed me her artwork from years ago and it was terrible. She basically worked hard and practiced so her artwork went from terrible to amazing in the span of a few years. If Mahjabeen was given the proper attention when it comes to education and in regular matters then she wouldn't have been like this.

Cant agree more!! Mahjabeen's parents are to be blamed!! But thats what they have actually tried to show... How neccessary it is to tell ur children about the things which are considered as Taboo...

Most of the children get physically abused by their close ones but dont know what exactly happened and how to react!! Even i have witnessed such case....

I realize it was very informal of me but it's more of a compliment than anything else because I personally find people with higher expectations to be very positive; always thinking people will do their best however, if they don't it really sucks and such a let down. True though that over the internet and just typing things out can come across in a different way. A friend of mine always thought I was angry in texts because I use proper punctuation. For them periods in texts meant anger.

DSM is the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders. It is the standard used to diagnose mental disorders. Think back to when you were studying Psychology in university.

Dont worry about it, it happens. Like online I am so talkative and expressive, while in real life you would be surprised how quiet and shy I am. Most of the time in social gatherings I just sit in a corner. 😂

Umzzz I used to be go to the special needs center in school because I needed extra support for classes and also extra time for exams, and you would be surprised how many other students there were there who had certain issues/problems but if you look at them, theylook and talk completely normal you cant even tell theres something wrong with them. Like a friend of mine was completely fine otherwise but she was very slow in certain things and needed extra attention to do certain tasks. I think this DSM is a very broad subject.

Yeah I dont understand why Mahjabeens parents have been like that, it seems like they just see her innocence and therefore they dont want her to see the bitter reality of how life can be. But sometimes its not just parents that can be blamed, sometimes even two siblings can turn out to be opposite of each other like you can see Abdullah and Washma are. Abdullah is so afraid and vulnerable all the time while his sister is so confident that nobody can harm her.

Do you think Sarwar might molest Mahjabeen which will lead to her transformation into a confident and mature girl to fight him? I do hope they show Nahjabeen pursuing her studies again in the end and maybe become something. I do hope Washma encourages her to study and become strong.

Mansoora living in false hope that sarwar loves her ..she watched him ruining her son’s personality ,beating, abouse ..is she now going to watch sarwar ruining Abdullah’s married life too ? When A came from office he was upset she knew it’s got to be sarwar still she doesn’t do anything.. Now everything clear and she knows sarwar’s intentions hope she takes her her so called husband out of their life..not only her Mahjbeen’s parents knows sarwar touching her ,taking her to restaurant and their daughter is so innocent why they don’t tell her properly to stay away from him....only hope is now wasma..and every week when I watch this I was like praying and hoping he doesn’t do any harm..

Exactly its strange. They should give any back story otherwise it would be hee parents who need to blame for her this condition.

at least her mother should guide her now. Shadi k baad hi kuch bata deti.

I think Mahjabeen parents see her as vulnerable and innocent; which is why when Mahjabeen told her mother that she does not like Sarwar touching her, the mother got mad but also I thought she would get more mad since it was a serious matter but perhaps she didn't really know what to say to her.

Washma is a great sister to Abdullah and I am glad they show her encouraging him and not showing a distance between the two siblings. And I agree, two siblings can be very different. Sometimes it's personal situations that you are in or just if you are raised differently cause that can happen too.

I want Abdullah to pursue a career in maths since that is his strong subject. Hopefully Mahjabeen and Abdullah can both shown to study further, that would be great.

Mahjabeen has strong Urdu and im sure they showed that for a reason it must have a big part to play in her future...maybe she can study urdu literature or something?

Also maybe Mahjabeens mother didnt reveal about Sarwar to her because she knows how impulsive and foolish Mahjabeen is and didnt want her to do something stupid...like Mahjabeen would probably go and tell everyone but nobody would believe her obviously

Yeah no doubt about that and it can be any number of issues. Maybe dyslexia, maybe ADD/ADHD but sometimes it's as simple as the person just not being very bright. In some cases it's an underlying mental disorder, in some cases it's the result of trauma or abuse but in some cases the person's brain just isn't smart at all. There are a lot of real life stories of people who were terrible at studying but still ended up becoming very successful. Then there is the fact that all humans are different and learn differently. Each person has their own learning style - some are visual, some are spatial, some are kinetic, some are auditory, some are multi-modal. Schools such as the one Mahjabeen attended would not cater to all learners, it would just be the teacher standing at the front teaching. Mahjabeen may simply be someone who learns better visually or kinetically but because the teaching method used does not cater to Mahjabeen's learning style it makes her look really dumb whereas if she was educated in a way that she understood then she might just do well.

Yeah the DSM is very broad but is the standard all around the world for diagnosing disorders of the mind and it is very thorough and well defined.

I would hate if they showed such a thing. A lot of the time people don't grow from tragedy and putting a heroine through tragedy just to show her growth would be terrible. I would like if they just showed her getting a healthy environment and encouragement from her hubby and new family. Maybe she just needs someone to help her out. But yeah I definitely want to see her getting motivated and pursuing studies.
