LOL Mickey ki toh kisi ko kadar nahin rahi😆

I personally can never get over the fact that an underage Ashnoor who still looks like a child basically romanced a guy who is around the same age as Aniruddh and Kunal....guys who played father figures to her😕.....I could have maybe digested this if she atleast looked like an adult and older than her age.....but no, she both looks AND acts like a 15 year old CHILD and they made her do this so called "mature" romance....beyond disgusting. A failure on the parts of the adults who allowed this to happen and the audience who normalized this in the name of koi bhi love story chalegi as long as it's our fav. actors🤔

The worst part is it actually uas no reasoning g why they have casted an adult and ok kar liya cast why they had to make it a romantic pairing? What 's the point in plot to justify it or give it a meaning?

What I understand is Babita was always right mini is the doosri aurat indeed like that gf of her dad I forgot the name of🤷🏻‍♀️ doosron ko lecture dene wali mini din raat in name of progressiveness khud hi itni weirdo nikli and apne baap ke umar ke aadmi se pyar kar bhaithi. BRAVO👏😏 what a story what a twist

Is baat pe Sam ka dialogue paste karne ka dil kar raha hai from Broken...."Karma is a B....no wonder she found you"🤣

All I could gather from this turn of events is that the writer is seriously on some delusional ego trip....she became so blinded by wanting to prove her interpretation of "progressive love story", she totally lost sight of how creepy the writing and casting is coming across as. There were a zillion ways to take Mini's story forward if they were so determined by still keeping it age appropriate.....the insistence on adding this creepy romantic pairing is beyond reason.....It's plain and simple ego, nothing else. Apne aap ko point prove karne ke chakkar mein besti hi karvaayi hai.

I've heard that shooting of TV soaps might resume in the May, but given the situation in Mumbai right now,I don't think anything is possible before June.

Also how is everyone doing?

Yes it is!! Can't help but think that karma bites back and how!!

I'm actually watching TV nowadays. After such a long time.

I usually watch episodes on app, but lately they're broadcasting old shows and I'm totally loving it.

2 hrs everyday in the morning, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai and khichdi.

@bold oh I love both these shows!!unadulterated pure joy

At the beginning of PB 2 she was a bit awkward doing 23 year old Minis role , but later she made it up and was pretty natural in romantic scenes .

Actually PB 2 did not do not as bad as PB 1 fans wanted it to do .

Ashnoor is a good actor, no second thoughts about that. But there's just so much good actor can do to save a story going down the drain.

I didn't watch PB2 in the beginning, I watched only two tracks in the end, child abuse one and Neil's divorce.

I am not going to comment on romantic scenes, but the peak of second season was the child abuse track. I applaud writers for acknowledging the problem itself, this wasn't the best execution of child abuse on TV, Udaari did a way better job. But since PB is probably the first Indian show to touch that topic, I can ignore the lapses in execution. Probably only track in PB2 worth watching.

And immediately after that was Neil(SRJ)'s divorce track, which was total cringe and problematic on many levels. As OP posted, Minnie fighting someone else's battles goes against the spirit of empowerment. As Hanuman Singh once said, you can coach someone, you can't fight their battles. Minnie on the other hand, was invading in what is an issue between Neil and his wife. Legal aspects of divorce and custody were totally incorrect. Whitewashing of Neil's poor parenting and total black and white potrayal of Neil and ex-wife's relationship.

PB2 did okay job for the same reason why yeh rishta kya kehlata hai, saath nibhana Saathiya type serials stay afloat for years despite being nothing but malarkey while shows like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai never became popular despite witty humour. Standard has been set so low that anything that is average looks great. Good looking hero and heroine, nice clothes, Holi romance, slow dance, one or two eyelocks in slow motion and you're good to go. When you have "sizzling chemistry", why bother with storyline.

Nice to see the portions with the original PB cast....I guess I got my closure a while back.

Ashnoor both gained some, and then lost a lot with this show IMO. The gains obviously were all in season 1....season 2 was a debacle on all fronts and has tarnished whatever goodwill and kudos she had accumulated in many years of working as a child artist in TV/films.

PB2 is a watershed....there is no regaining that stature and the loss of innocence from this point on. She literally played an underage looking girl romancing a man twice her age and it looked hell creepy.....that is the last image she is leaving us with in this show when she could have left us with a powerful image of the Mini from season 1 despite the flaws in her character.

But we all have to live with our choices. Ashnoor fully laid her career in the hands of Rajita Sharma and she seems to have immense faith that Rajita alone can give her everything in her career. Time will tell.

All I can say is that the PH is getting a good dose of Karma for pushing such a pathetic season 2. They got everything wrong from the writing to the casting.....as far as I know, the TRPs were abysmal too but they kept afloat on channel ki meherbaani.....ab usi channel ko gaaliyaan pad rahi hain.....LOL what a way to go down after gaining kudos for a distinguished season 1.

This will become a cautionary tale for how badly a show can sink when the ego of the writers flies so high that they are blinded to their own terrible casting choices. I will categorically state that everyone was terribly cast in Season 2....Ashnoor had no business playing a 23 year old when she doesn't remotely look the part.....that kid of HS-Babita....I can't even remember her name now....lol SO badly cast without any charm or acting ability......SRJ's most horrible career choice ever after playing iconic roles like Krishna. This whole thing was a flaming dumpster fire that I guess is fittingly going down in flames. Good riddance.

I can compartmentalize and happily remember PB 1 for the amazing writing and casting....they were all perfect for their parts. PB2 is a nightmare best dismissed from memory.

And Ashnoor beta....I know you are in a desperate hurry to grow up, but please give your body language time to catch up or there will just be more career misfires for you. Don't waste your talent so badly in myopic decisions. Waiting for 3-4 years to play an adult isn't going to be the end of the world.

Aniruddh and Paridhi: You can have the last laugh after all😆

@bold no doubt about it!! No matter how much season 2 viewers can claim otherwise, it didn't have an ounce of magic that season 1 had!! The very idea of a 14 year old kid romancing a 30 something adult is nauseating to say the least!

AD and PS did prove to be the baazigars ta the end 😆..I would have been heartbroken had the show shut down like this when they were in it!! They got a much better send off now it seems😊

What just happened.. 🤷‍♀️ I feel bad for the other cast and working crew but PH got what it deserves.

1. Ashnoor or her parents, whoever consented to being presented like this on TV, 2. KK writers and Rajita for making a 15 years old romance 36 years old guy, 3. creepy audience.. for enjoying a 15 years old being reduced to this level of cringe — deserve every bit of what happened to them. No sympathy. Especially to Ashnoor and her parents. So much desperate-ness for fame and money that you forget your child is only 15 for god’s sake.

Mini ki story dikhane ke liye, pure show aur story ka satyanash kar diya.. Aur mini ko kya mila? Tharki uncle se pyar without confession and a proper end. Rajita — on your face.

Great to see you back!

@bold correction she is still a few days away from being 15 I think 🤔

Yes they are exactly getting what they all deserved! (except for the crew, technicians etc)

@bold can't agree more!!I really can't decide which is more atrocious, a 14 year old romancing a man who of the same age category as the ones who played her father figures or the audience shipping them together and normalising the entire thing and using terms like sizzling, hot etc for a kid for god's sake. Maybe we as an audience are too old school and there is something very wrong with us than we find all of it offensive, really don't know!
