I live in Saltlake Kolkata and my area has been sanitised twice in last 3 weeks by spraying aerosols on the road and outside walls of our houses ..

Covid-19 continues to wreck havoc across the globe, scientists are racing to develop antidotes for the new coronavirus, which began infecting humans late last year. Scientists and researchers are exploring various avenues to come up with medical treatments that can fight the novel coronavirus. One such treatment that's in focus right now is Convalescent Plasma Therapy.

After China and the US, India has given a go ahead for framing a protocol to conduct a clinical trial for convalescent plasma therapy. The therapy has been used experimentally in the past and so has become a ray of hope in the fight against the novel coronavirus pandemic.

This is the info regarding the Plasma therapy.

Plasma therapy can lead to adverse reactions or events. Immune-mediated reactions are most common--these include allergic and anaphylactic reactions, transfusion-related acute lung injury (TRALI) and hemolysis. They can range in severity from mild to fatal. Fluid overload and citrate toxicity can occur after rapid or massive transfusion. They have the unwanted effect of reducing some coagulation factors but reduce viral transmission risk even further. Reactions associated with plasma products or fractions also include allergic reactions, although TRALI is rare. Viral transmission risk is very low because of the use of two independent viral inactivation steps.

WHAT IS CONVALESCENT PLASMA THERAPY?

The convalescent plasma therapy aims at using antibodies from the blood of a recovered Covid-19 patient to treat those critically affected by the virus. The therapy can also be used to immunize those at a high risk of contracting the virus -- such as health workers, families of patients and other high-risk contacts.

This therapy's concept is simple and is based on the premise that the blood of a patient who has recovered from Covid-19 contains antibodies with the specific ability to fight novel coronavirus. The theory is that the recovered patient's antibodies, once ingested into somebody under treatment, will begin targetting and fighting the novel coronavirus in the second patient.

The convalescent plasma therapy is akin to passive immunization as, according to researchers, it is a preventive measure and not a treatment for the Covid-19 disease.

^^ The Dawah group USA (similar to India Tablighi Jamat) announced they were not afraid of Covid19 and would go everywhere even if they had the virus.

What is the result now in New York ? The Dawah Group is littered with dead bodies " 👆👆.👆inside their own apartments.

This virus is unsparing and demands that we take care !

Stay Home,.... Stay Safe,....

.....

Hope, the good news will be soon on its way, for a broad public victory use,.. ....... and we all R' eagerly awaiting for it ! ( Just uploaded )

Conclusive Translation : Police Van in a Mohalla says,...

"65 corona+Ve.. cases are only vegetable hawkers,.. fruits carts and renkadi waalaas,..

Most virus are coming home, making its way via yr cloth/plastic vegetable bag and from vegetable vendors and Kariyaanaa's shops,.....

Do NOT carry bags , but take with you a plastic doll (bucket) , and bring them without touching,...... come home,... add water to it and eating baking soda ( Khaane ka soda,.... Dhone waala nahin ) ,....2 spoons,... steer it and let stay 10+ minutes,.. and then take out vegetables after through cleaning,.... Don't let laari waalaas in your Mohalla and hence we are stopping them, and u think, V torture them,.... but there remains such reasons,..."

I'm not sure if it's happening in other cities but here in Bangalore they're starting to lock areas which is best option as of now to contain people and stop them from moving from one area to another for groceries & other essentials.
