I meant Deepika has the freedom to behave outside the ‘rules’ of the feminist ideology.
It’s up to each person (and their loss) if they want to limit themselves by the boundaries of a group ideology (e.g feminism).

U know this is the real issue..instead of helping out women who r in distress they would comment on celebrities who look quite comfy n happy..
According to them If a woman who gets slapped by her husband out of anger says she is ok with it..she is okay with it..there is no hidden sadness beneath that..but if a wife willingly cooks for her husband and family, takes care of her home and smiles through that..her smile is fake..or she is simply a spoilt, rich, lazy princess who lives off her husband's money.. whatever work she does at home is absolutely useless..the time she gets to spend with her kids, husband and family is immaterial..she could have very well spent that on calls, meetings and travelling and earned a load..afterall we all don't have memories of our mom n dad spending time with us in our childhood ..all we remember is the loads of gifts and goodies they brought for us from their salary..ya?
This is a great point you make. Relating this to my childhood, I feel very lucky for the time I got to spend with my parents! The toys & material things eventually found their way to the trash...memories didn’t.
I find this rampant careerism & its encroachment into every aspect of life very problematic. We are made to feel guilty for spending time with family, enjoying hobbies or simply relaxing! We are looked down upon if we aren’t ‘hustling’, working/being productive or otherwise trading our time for money. And don’t get me started on travelling, it’s all for social media likes & checking off a bucket list!🙄
Everything now is forced, contrived & artificial. It sickens me to the core. Even relationships are commodified. 😔

Yup..I had a working mom..and it was out of necessity..like she started working very young. She was in a bank in those times when working hours weren't so long and not many calls n meetings to attend. Same with dad.. So it was manageable with respect to family time. She took VRS when she felt like spending more time with us.
Today working hours have increased so much and a lot is dependent on calls...even wfh becomes difficult at times with kids..thats why I said hats off to those who can manage both..I can't so m happy in my space

You’re happy, that’s all that matters. Don’t give in to anyone pressurising you into thinking otherwise (I’m sure you don’t but I’m just saying).

When did feminism and women empowerment become about women/girls getting shit-faced, smoking weed, waking up with some random man in bed after a night of drinking frenzy?
When did oppression become cooking your meals, loving your husband, taking care of your kids, and enjoying a happy, family life?
When?

Why is Deepika like this with every guy except her husband? Damn just look at the likes and views on each tweet What do you think?...
Madhuri is working consistently for so many years. She is working on a project with Tripti and continuing to be active. What is Aishwarya doing?...
Her PR flunkies and minions really convinced us back in May that she is playing the main female lead in King but guess what? She is totally...
