CHAPTER 2: BEGNNING

PART::: 4

Next Morning

                   Team is at Etf headquarters.Today they are going to shift that bosses to other special cell. They are busy in paper work and some other official works. Soon van comes and unko uss mein bithaya jaata hai. Chotu and Shree unn ke sath van mein bethte hai. Aisha and Liza are at office. Arjun and Sameer followed that van in their SUV.

                   In middle suddenly Van ke tier puncture ho jaate hai. Shree and chotu exchange look. Men looked at each other and smiles. Sameer applied break. Dono car se bahar aate hai and van ke pass jaate hai. Shree and chotu bhi bahar aakar check karte hai. Issi baat ka fayda utha ke vo men waha se bhaag ne ki koshish karte hai. Arjun saw this and follow them. Shree and sameer also run behind them. Arjun is about to caught them but suddenly someone shoot both the men. Sameer looked at bushes and found one man with black mask. Sameer run behind him. This side Chotu calls ambulance. Arjun sits near men.

MAN 1: Tumhe kya laga tha ACP... hume pakad liya toh sab khatam ho jayega... bilkul nahi...Hum toh sirf mohre the...

ARJUN: Kon hai tum logon ka boss?

MAN 2: Apne aap ko bohat hoshiyar samjte ho naa... khud hi dhundh lena... iss khel ka pakka khiladi hai vo...

                   Before Arjun asks, both die.

At Some place

                   Vishal enter in room and he is very restless. Rashmi see him.

RASHMI: Vishal kya hua?

                   Rashmi got up from chair.

                   Sameer turns his face and again called someone. Shree and chotu looked at Aisha who is quiet upset. It’s first time when sameer talk with her like this. She just wanted to calm him as he is very restless and angry. She took deep breath thinking that Sameer’s anger is obvious. Afterall ETF have reputation for being the best team and this incident is like a black spot on Team’s image.  She convinced herself and looked at him with smile and then looked at Shree and nods like she is perfectly fine.

                             Arjun noticed everything. He nods in disbelief and then again starts thinking about main culprit. He remembered last words of that boss.

                             He thinks something and then looked at team.

ARJUN: Shree aaj tak human trafficking ke case ke charge mein jo bhi pakde gaye hai mujhe unn sab ki details chahiye aur khass kar Pathan Lala ki...

                             Hearing pathan’s name Sameer glared at him.

                   Arjun left for his cabin.

          Aisha nods and they left to central jail. Shree also went to his working cubical and start his work.

Arjun’s cabin

          He is in cabin and twirling pen sitting on his chair. He is thinking about whole case. He can’t understand some facts.

[6th Scene]

LIZA: Sir Raaju aur Mohan ki moat parso raat 12:30 ke ass pass hui hai and yeh Mukesh,uski death raat 2 baje se 2:15 ke bich hui hai. Interesting baat yeh hai ki Raaju and Mohan pe issi gun se goli chalayi gayi hai lakin Mukesh ko kisi aur gun se maara gaya hai.

AISHA: It means do alag logo ne inko maara

LIZA: haan aur inke body pe choat ke nishan hai vo hathapai ki wajah se hi aaye hai, inki kisi ke sath acchi-khasi ladai hui hogi, Mukesh ke pair ki haddi bhi tuti hui hai, khooni ne bohat Zor se waar kiya hoga

                   He put pen on side and thinks once again.

                   He took glass and drinks some water. Then he looked at his watch and then he thinks about sakshi. He picked his phone and open contacts.                    Shree comes in Arjun’s cabin.

SHREE: Sir  maine call records nikal li hai aur Aisha aur chotu bhi aa gaye hai

                   Arjun nods and both headed to conference room. Arjun sits on his chair and Shree sits on his chair.

ARJUN: Kya pata chala?

                   Arjun nods. Sameer enters in room. All looked at him.

SAMEER: Coelho sir ne ne kaha hai ki yeh case jald se jald solve hona chahiye, media ki aur se bhi bohat pressure hai aur humare paas jawab dene k liye kuch nahi hai... Damn It!

                   Arjun got up from chair.

ARJUN: Don’t worry Rathod, case bohat jald solve ho jayega

SHREE: Arjun sir sahi keh rahe hai Sir, Humne check kiya... Pathan ke saath kuch links mile hai

SAMEER: What?

ARJUN: Jab tak tere jaise gunehgaar apna dhandha bandh nahi kar dete tab tak me toh kahi nahi jaane wala

SAMEER: Hume tumhare khilaf kuch saboot mile hai human trafficking Case me

                   Pathan starts laughing.

                   Arjun and Sameer looked at each other.

VARUN: Aur baat hai Milind ki toh vo bhi sirf apka bebuniyad ilzaam hai... aise toh kal ko yeh sab jo baki ke cell me hai vo riha honge aur wapas crime karenge toh kya aap yahi kahenge ki mere client ne sab karwaaya hai? Ab agar apki questioning khatam ho gayi hai toh aap jaa sakte hai aur haan agali baar mere client pe ilzaam tabhi lagaiyega jab apke paas koi thos saboot ho warna mujhe apke khilaf kuch actions lene padenge

                   Arjun looked at Pathan. Pathan has evil smile on face. Etf team left from jail.

                   Team enter in conference room but they all get shocked as sakshi is there.

SAMEER: Sakshi Tum!!!

                   Shree, Aisha and Chotu become so happy. Sakshi looked at everyone and give her signature smile.

SAKSHI: Hi

                   All comes near her. Arjun sits on his chair and looked at Sakshi.

AISHA: Sakshi tum yaha kya kar rahi ho?

CHOTU: Me dekhta hoon sir

After 3 hours,

Etf Interrogation Room

                   Chotu is there with 2 men. Sameer and Arjun enter in room and other members are in control room.

CHOTU: Sir yeh ganesh aur yeh bilal hai...inn dono ke right hand pe choat lagi hai vo bhi aaj hi...

                   Arjun looked at ganesh and bilal. He observes both’s hand.

ARJUN: Ganesh ko jaane do chotu... vo nahi hai

                   Arjun goes near him.

                   Bilal think about it and gulped.

SAMEER: uss admi ka sketch banva sakte ho naa?

                   Shree come there with sketch.

                   Sameer give her sketch.

AISHA: Sir maine isse dekha hai!

SAKSHI: jail me?

ARJUN: nahi Rathod... koi bhi muft me kaam nahi karta! Montu tab tak yeh seher nahi chodega jab tak usko uske paise nahi mil jaate... vo direct Pathan se contact me tha iss liye vo paise bhi Pathan se hi lega

SAMEER: Pathan aaj bail pe chhutne wala hai matlab vo aaj Montu se zaroor milega

ARJUN: Right aur yahi moka hai unn dono ko pakad ne ka

SAMEER: Ek baar sure karne ke liye Shree tum call ke timings nikalo.... central jail me rashan har 10 din me le jaaya jaata hai... check karo ki telephone booth se aaya call iss timing se match hota hai yaa nahi

SHREE: Ok sir

AISHA: me katiyal pe nazar rakhti hoon taaki pata chale ki bail kab ho rahi hai

SAMEER: Right! Bail milne k baad hum Pathan ka picha karenge... Chotu Bilal ko humari custody me lo aur case file karo

CHOTU: Ok sir

                   All went out from conference room to do their respective work. Arjun and sakshi are in conference room. Sakshi check her watch and open her purse. Arjun looked at her. She pulled out some medicine and looked at glass but glass is empty so she tries to get up but her stick falls. She put medicine on side and bent down to take stick but before she picked it Arjun comes there and picked up her stick. Sakshi looked at him.

ARJUN: Apne pair pe zyada pressure mat daalo

                   Sakshi is looking him. He went at the corner of conference room and filled up the glass with water and wapas sakshi ke paas aate hai.

ARJUN: yeh lo

                   Sakshi nods and take glass from him and took medicine.

ARJUN: Kuch aur chahiye?

                   Sakshi nods in no. Arjun looked at her once and went out from conference room. Sakshi smiles and looked at Arjun’s retreating form.

 4 PM

Conference room

                   Everyone is in conference room.

AISHA: Sir Pathan ko abhi half hour mein bail milne wali hai

SHREE: Sir maine cross check kar liya hai... jiss jiss din jail me rashan gaya hai ussi din call bhi kiya gaya tha

SAMEER: Good Job... hume nikalna chahiye taaki hum Pathan ka picha kar paaye

                   All nods and got up from chair.

SAMEER: Sakshi tum nahi aa rahi... tum yahi betho

SAKSHI: Lakin kyun?

AISHA: Tumhe choat lagi hai naa

SAKSHI: I am fine Aisha... mujhe bhi aap sab ke saath aana hai

SAMEER: lakin...

SAKSHI:Sameer mera aana bohat zaroori hai... itne bade case ka aaj real culprit pakda jaane wala hai aur as per my job rules aise waqut mera team ke saath hona sab se zyada zaroori hai

AISHA: haan lakin hum sab tumhe help karenge with your report work...

SAKSHI: vo baat alag hai Aisha... Sameer it’s my duty... tum mujhe nahi rok sakte

SAMEER: Ok fine. Chalo

                   Sakshi gives smile and nods.Soon all reached at central jail and parked the Suv at one corner so no one can notice them. They start waiting for Pathan to come out. After 15 to 20 minutes Pathan comes out with his lawyer Varun katiyal. Pathan and Katiyal start talking. Same time one van stops near them. One man come out from van and went near Pathan.

SHREE: Sir yeh toh Milind hai!

                   This side Milind talk with Katiyal and then shake hand with him. Milind Pathan ko wheelchair se utha ke van mein bethne me help karta hai. Soon Milind starts his van. Sameer also starts Suv and start chasing that van with some safe distance. After sometime Milind turn his van on one empty road. After 3-4 kilo meters driving they reached at one factory. Sameer stop SUV on one corner behind some trees. Milind come out and look around to check that is there anyone or not. He found no one so he went towards other side and help Pathan to come out. Milind Pathan ke saath factory me chala jaata hai....

CHOTU: Sir hume bhi jaana chahiye

ARJUN: Nahi abhi tak Montu yaha nahi aaya hai... Montu hi ek hai jo iss baat ka pakka saboot hai ki Pathan hi in sab ke piche hai

                   They wait for some time and as per their expectation Montu come there on his bike. Team get alert. Montu parked his bike and look around to check that everything is ok or not. Seeing no one he enters into factory.

                   Sameer and Arjun looked at each other and then come out. Stealthily they start walking towards factory. Sameer and Aisha go to back side of factory to find back door of factory.

ARJUN: Chotu tum yahi ruko aur nazar rakho... Me aur Shree andar jaa rahe hai

SAKSHI: Aur me?

                   Arjun looked at her and threw hard look. He goes in factory and so Shree.

Pathan and Milind,

Inside factory

                   Pathan, Milind and Montu are there and talking with each other. From back side Sameer and Aisha enters in factory and take safe position. This side Arjun and Shree also enters in factory and take their positions. They start hearing their conversation.

PATHAN: Itna accha plan bana tha Lakin iss baare mein Etf ko pata chal gaya... agar Raaju aur Mohan ki moat naa hui hoti yeh sab bahar hi nahi aata... unki moat ki wajah se hume consignment rokna pada aur saara plan chopat ho gaya!

MILIND: Humne dhundh ne ki bohat koshish ki lakin hume aaj tak pata nahi chala ki kisne maara hai unhe! Mukesh ne Madhav ko call karke bulaaya tha aur itna bataya ki koi ladki thi jisne mask pehn rakha tha... Madhav ne Mukesh ko maar diya taaki vo humare kisi kaam ka nahi raha tha... case toh tab bigda jab Etf ko unn tino ki dead body mili...

PATHAN: Vikas jiss ne etf ko call kiya tha uska kuch pata chala?

MONTU: nahi boss... Vo Mr. India ki tarah gayab ho gaya hai... dikha hi nahi wapas

PATHAN: Jissne bhi humare mamle me taang adayi hai usse uski asli jagah toh dikhani hi padegi

MONTU: Vo dono Madhav aur Surjeet ko maine marva diya hai jaisa apne kaha tha

PATHAN: uss Arjun ko Shaq ho gaya hai.... yaha saath rehna theek nahi hai... uski naak bohat tez hai... yaha bhi pohch jayega

MONTU: Boss mere paise?

                   Pathan looked at Milind and Milind gave one suitcase to Montu.

PATHAN: Ab naa me tumhe jaanta hoon aur naa hi tum log mujhe... agle consignment ki taiyari start karo...

                   Montu nods. Shree record whole conversation and click pictures too. Shree looked at Arjun and Arjun nods. They start moving slowly towards Pathan but Pathan ki nazar unpe padti hai.

PATHAN: Etf

                   Milind and Montu pulled out their gun and start firing. Team alert ho jaati hai and vo bhi return firing karti hai. Sakshi and Chotu also come inside factory. Chotu join team in firing. Sakshi waha khadi thi... Arjun come and stand in front of her.

ARJUN: Uss side jaauo Sakshi... fast...

                   Sakshi nods and vo barrel ke piche chhup jaati hai. firing me Montu maara jaata hai and Sameer Milind ko arrest kar leta hai...Chotu Milind ke saath hai...Sameer, Aisha, Arjun, Shree and Sakshi Pathan ke paas jaate hai.

ARJUN: Ab toh katiyal bhi tujhe nahi bacha sakta Pathan! Pakke saboot hai tumhare khilaf jo tumhe phansi dilwaane ke liye kaafi hai... kaha tha naa “sadrakshanay khalnigranay”... tujh jaiso ko apni sahi jagah pohcha ke hi rahunga

PATHAN: Mujhe toh pakad loge Arjun Rawte... apni biwi ke khooni ka kya karoge... usse toh abhi tak pakad nahi paaye! Tab kaha jaati hai teri yeh herogiri?

                   Sakshi looked at Arjun who is looking angry.

SAMEER: Rawte vo ek baar phir wahi kar raha hai jo iss ne court ke bahar kiya tha... iski baat mat suno...

PATHAN: Haan haan... aakhir sach kon sun naa chahta hai! sach toh yahi hai naa ki kaabil officer Arjun Ratwe apni biwi ke khooni ko pakad nahi paaya! Pakdna toh dur uske baare mein kuch jaanta tak nahi hai!

                   Arjun make fist in anger.

PATHAN: Kya hua! Teri bolti kyun bandh ho gayi? Sacchai kadvi lag gayi Yaa phir yaad aa gaya ki kaise teri biwi tere samne mar gayi

                   Shree and Sameer are also become angry. Aisha and Sakshi are looking at Arjun. Sakshi is restless seeing Arjun and hearing Pathan’s nonsense.

SAMEER: Shree le chalo isse... Rawte chalo

                   Arjun is looking at Pathan with anger.

SAMEER: rawte chalo...

                   Arjun didn’t move.

SAMEER(Sternly): Rawte!

                   Shree took Pathan outside. All come out. Chotu called local police so one jeep is waiting outside the factory. Sameer is talking with local police. Chotu make Milind sit into jeep. Shree is clicking pictures and busy with local police to seal this area. Arjun is standing near SUV and lost into thought. He is looking hurt as roshni’s brutal death comes in front of his eyes.

                   Pathan look around and usse chance milta hai. Vo dheere se gun nikalta hai and firing start kar deta hai. team uske sudden attack se shock ho jaati hai. They take position and start firing. Other side Milind pushed the police inspector and jeep se bahar aa jaata hai and Pathan ko join kar leta hai. phir kuch der tak firing chalti hai. Iss firing me Milind maara jaata hai. Pathan check his gun and only one bullet is left. Arjun notice this and run towards him and pushed him due to which Pathan falls from wheelchair. Arjun took him on gun point.

PATHAN: Rawte tu mujhe kabhi phasi nahi dilwa payega...

                   He pulled out one small paper and open it jiss me ek capsule thi before Arjun react Pathan vo capsule muh me daal deta hai and looked at Arjun with evil and winning smile.

PATHAN: Tu Sikandar Bhai ko kabhi nahi pakad payega Arjun Rawte... kabhi nahi...

                   This sentence makes him surprised. Arjun hold him by his collar.

ARJUN: Tu Sikandar ko jaanta hai? Bol kaha hai Sikandar? Bol Pathan...

              Sameer and other team reached there. Before Arjun ask anything Pathan ki death ho jaati hai.

ARJUN: Pathan... Pathan...

                   Arjun leave him and got up. He looked at Pathan once again and waha se side pe chale jaate hai.

SAMEER: Shree ambulance bulauo

                   Shree nods. Sakshi looked at Arjun. Arjun is looking lost, angry and broken. His condition pricks her.

Night

At some place

                   Rashmi is talking with choti.

RASHMI: finally Pathan apni sahi jagah pohch gaya

CHOTI: Haan Rashmi!!! Yeh sab bohat acche se ho gaya!

RASHMI: Right! Accha hua usne khud ko maar diya warna trust me choti iss baar me khud usko apne haath se maar dalti... afsos iss baat ka hai ki me apni aankho se usko marte hue nahi dekh paayi

CHOTI: Abhi toh ek gaya hai Rashmi! Don’t worry... aage aur bhi moke milenge

RASHMI: Me humare next mission ki taiyari kar hi rahi hoon

CHOTI: Theek hai lakin be careful... Etf ko abhi tak Mohan aur Raaju ki moat ka sach pata nahi chala hai aise me etf ko lightly lena theek nahi hoga

RASHMI: I know... Don’t worry Etf mujh tak tab tak nahi pohchegi jab tak me nahi chahungi

CHOTI: Mujhe pata hai lakin phir bhi Alert rehna

RASHMI: Choti tension mat le... tu jaanti hai ki me kon hoon aur mujh tak pohchana aasan nahi hai

CHOTI: Hmm vo bhi hai!!!

At Sea site,

                   Arjun is sitting on one stone and looking at sea. He is lost in roshni’s memory. Her smile, her talks, their marriage and finally her death. Tear escaped from his eyes.

At Sakshi’s home

                   Sakshi is sitting on her working desk. She typed her report and then closed her laptop. Arjun’s face comes in front of her eyes. She also became upset. She starts thinking about Arjun.
