I want to know I saw sana making a different kind of diya yesterday .. somebody said lemon diya .. what is the significance of lemon diya is it a sardar wala tradition .. or a Brahmin tradition .. can anybody enlighten

Lemon diyas are primarily lit in parts of South India in obeissance to Goddess Durga and to ward off and cast away the evil eye and to counter the designs of enemies. As the lemon lamp burns, it sputters and the louder the sounds and the more frequent the sputters and the more the smoke, the more one is believed to have been affected by evil energies like nazar etc. It’s not particularly a brahmin custom. It’s merely a Hindu custom.

I am not aware if Brahmakumaris follow the practice, but since they have South Indian roots too, they could perhaps and the Shukla home may have been following it since a while. Or else, they could simply have South Indian friends who advised it to them out of goodwill.

Hmmm... achcha hai.

Rajveer ko pari hai galiya. If he keep doing what he did yesterday, then I see a possibility of Shehnaaz unfollowing him soon. Family or no family, she has made it clear that no one can break her relationship.

I was just thinking something today. Papaji is missing on SM. Shehbaaz is giving his best behaviour. We decoded it was Sidharth telling them not to reveal so much about Sidnaaz. I think Sid is in charge again and fixed Rajbeer for good😆

no chance .. she doesn’t know much beyond Punjabi traditions.. In a way funny mother in law and sister in laws achhi band baja rahe honge ..

I am quite sure Shuklaji must have gone back to lazing in sofa in the house ..
