Ranveer has always been an overacting lunatic in all of his SLB colabs imo. 🤢

And him and deepika were given awful lines together (the balcony scene was a joke) I dont know why people hail their chemistry in Ram-Leela so much. Maybe for aesthetic reasons...🤔

I do like certain aspects of RL though. I thought the side characters did great (Supriya Pathak, Richa Chaddha, Gulshan, Ram and Leela's brothers etc).

I also like the goliyon ki rasleela part where everyone is always trigger-happy and have incorporated guns even into their celebrations and songs and dance routines.

I also find the soundtrack of the film to be great.

Yeah I mean they fell in love with each other within a minute, all good! But deepika kisses ranveer without consent it was so weird

Why few so much criticizing RL here

It was no Guzaarishh, Slb never claimed to make some artsy movie.

He genuinely made a masala tragic love story flick in which he was so much successful

The movie is very enjoyable, very entertaining to be watched on big screen as a time pass masala with Slb touch

Was thoroughly engaging , keeps the viewer's interest alive throughout its duration

Had great songs to listen & watch on screen

Paisa vasool type hutke venture from Slb

Was not even 50% as bad as people in this thread trying to make it to be

People are over reacting here calling it SUCH A BAD MOVIE which it was not

RL was a thoroughly enjoyable entertaining flick, you can not discredit this.

That was my reaction too when I watched it 😆 You see I watched in reverse order. At first I watched Padmaavat, loved it. Then I watched Bajirao Mastaani, story was meh....but SLB worked his magic in every frame. So I watched Ram Leela for this DP - RS - SLB trio & I too was like.....what the f*** was that 🤢🤢 I couldn't even believe it was an SLB movie. I mean....heck....it looks nothing like BM or PV. I wouldn't go as far as calling it a p***, but Romeo - Juliet ka kya insult hai. Shakespeare must be twirling in his grave. 😆

It was a bad film . Only saving grace for me was deepika

Enjoyed the music though!!
