How many times Prerna? IF I count the number of times you’vesaid Thank you to Mr Bajaj, it seems like that’s the only dialogue you can muster up to a person who has supported you for 8 long years!
So as a fun exercise, I made a list of the situations in which she said Thank you post leap!
1. At the award function, when she received heraward, acknowledging his support in helping her achieving this milestone
2. During the conversation, post that dance, (which was a nightmare for me for obvious reasons), when he told her she could go to India.
3. The cosy family conversation when he gives her all the travel documents for India.
4. Again, same convo, when he tells her he has made arrangements for Kukki’s college admission.
5. During the auction, she thanks him for clarifying to her executive about the price.
6. During the party, when she thanks him for his support
7. When she’s wondering how to convince her mother to move in with her, Mr Bajaj tells her how to convince her.
Have I missed out on any more ‘Thank yous’?? 😆
I am sure they were all heartfelt words of gratitude. But I think of Mr Bajaj, having to hear only ‘Thank you’ from her for so many years.

There’s been gratitude, respect and maturity in their relationship. It started from chaos and now has all the peace. Peace is an often ignored facet of love. Not everything needs to be tumultuous. The silent expression of their space is soul churning.
But, despite all of this, there’s got to be more. Definitely more! There has to be a break even point. It’s been just giving for Bajaj till date. From snatching away her peace, he has come a very long way. He has taken a journey of desire and domination to peace and surrender. There has to be a stir for Prerna. Their has to be a story that makes her question what this man means to her.
That point has to come else everything goes waste.
