Not Ash, I think madhuri would do justice to Madhubala the most.

For a film like this to be exciting as a remake, it would have to be a casting coup. Therefore:

Amitabh-Rekha and Katrina-Ranbir-Deepika types

Or Aishwarya-Salman-Rani.

I do not think actors or director can reach that caliber as prithviraj kapoor, dilip kumar or madubhala but if they make

Salim: Ranveer Singh(if you want acting) Hrithik Roshan (If you want more looks than acting)

Anarkali: Ashiwarya (looks) madhuri (dancing ability) deepika (pairing chemistry)

Akbar: Amitabh Bachchan(but he may over act like in Black) some south actors better

Jodha: Hema Malini or Rekha

Durjan Singh: Vikrant Massey (salims friend)

Man Singh: Sonu Sood

Bahar: Katrina Kaif or Vidya Balan

Director SLB or Rajamouli not Karan Johar please or he will introduce triangle love story between bahar-salim and anarkali or introduce gay love comedy between salim and his friend durjan singh(you never know this kjo)
