True!!
He hasn't seen real India. When he lived in London gender equality was a common thing and all things he talks of were pretty common i guess and nobody needed to fight for that. But still i expected him to know certain things, as his kaka said even ani used to go to river for bathing in his childhood, so it shouldn't be that shocking for him. He needs to go out see the reality. Reading books will give him knowledge no doubt but he shouldn't stay locked up in his study, he needs to go out, talk to people to out what real situation is. Slowly he will start doing that i feel.
And those men who came to complain, i agree they never accepted their mistake but one could see their guilty faces. They knew she was right but were just being stubborn on getting justice. Ani did right by shooing them away but he needs to learn some tark skills from bondu- to calmly convince people in the way they understand and should not resort to yelling.
@ bold - aww true, both are incomplete without each other. both have a lot to learn from each other and both will grow together
