I don't get the writers at all , they could have played Rishi character better than killing him off and now Rajeev death shocks me . he was Maya right hand and my heart hurt for his unfair death .. Killing him was not cool at all when nothing ever so happens to the Mj and his clan except Diya ,even she is alive why then Rajeev had to die .

What are the CVS aiming for only Mayra against the rest of the world or by killing Rajeev make us feel sympathetic to Maya or make Rudra sympathetic to her ,I don't get it .

Angelshweta I wish that was true. But he's dead. No TV show or movie has ever put an unconscious man in a closet and let him fall like that repeatedly. Plus Vikram would never let Rajeev live after he almost told Maya everything.

The synopsis of today's episode on sonyliv confirms that Rajeev is dead. So no other way now.

A great example of comic relief as to ease tension came in the form of Rajiv in this dark story. The CVs used Rajiv for humor to give the audience an emotional break from the tension and heavy mood of this serious and tragic plot. He lighted the screen with his weird smiles, with his clever dialogues and funny scenes. There is a story to reveal regarding his past and how and why he was associated with Maya in this revenge drama, yet to reveal, but prior to it , his story was ended? A bit disappointed.

Thanks Shreya🤗, your post is in a way a tribute we are all paying to this comic character Rajiv.

Mads he wasn't just comic relief, he was the light in a dark story. Whenever he came, he brought smiles and laughter with him. He made Maya smile. He understood Maya's inner secrets and managed her pain. He was her brother in every sense.

Killing him was another way of pushing Maya back into the abyss that she was once in. There will be no one now to bring her out of the darkness, to understand her, to make her smile.

This isn't about a fight of good vs evil. It's about a fight of darkness vs light and how darkness has the capability to swallow even the brightest of lights. In this case, those lights were Rishi and Rajeev. Now it's up to Maya and Rudra to keep those dim lights going in this pursuit. Rudra, especially, is the only bright light left and he needs to break free of this darkness. He can't let it envelop him.

And a bit here and there when Maya's past is revealed completely from her perspective and her 8 saal ki planning.(if at all).

Yes. The CVs had so much to explore in both Rishi and Rajeev. Fine, they killed Rishi early because it was needed for the story. But Rajeev? You introduce a character with so much mystery and let him die without clearing the mystery? Why would you do that?

Rishi I can still say we got some closure. He died without knowing the truth and without any mysteries around him. His death is saddening still, but it doesn't leave a void. I just feel pained thinking about his death.

But Rajeev? There's a huge gaping hole now and without proper closure, how do the CVs expect us just to say "okay" and move on over his death?

Exactly! Rishi's death was disturbing but the story continued with a natural flow without any gaps being felt.

But here they introduced someone suddenly without any proper background gave a few scenes and killed him off again so hurriedly. Seems so so hollow at this point, it just doesn't make sense. Not even a single person is okay with this.

As you rightly mentioned, he played an important role in Maya's every pursuit, in every implementation of her plans, he was there as an added advantage to her every intelligent game plan, stood there along with her decade-old vengeance to push her forward. Well said Shreya, he is a light in the dark story. Now Rudra is left there to save her from this pit of sorrow and deceit, but he was there with a clouded mind, influenced by MJ, first, he has to come out of that shade, the darkness, then he will be able to show light to his Maya. This fictitious hubb of Maya is crueler than MJ it seems, MJ is a visible villain, but this Vik is a cunning plotter, more dangerous than MJ. He captivated her by attacking her from all directions>. keeping Nandini as a silent lamb, making the main tool of Maya i.e Rajiv a lifeless one and sliding Rudra into sidelines!! We know, prior to Rudra MJ will emerge and create a ruckus, the entire gang is ganged up again in the drawing-room at MJ mansion, to plot to eliminate Maya. Maya has to regain her vengeful warrior mode now.

Rajeev was an adorable character...the only real supporter of Maya who truly knew her dark side & yet deeply cared for and stood by her. He was devoted to her but did not hesitate to show her the mirror when he felt she went too far esp after Rishi’s death. He was like a ray of sunshine in the dark show & never failed to bring a smile on our faces. There was so much more left in his story to explore & I was looking forward to seeing him make Rudra understand Maya’s past. We did not even get to know him or his past properly. And the CVs just shoved him into that cupboard without much ado! Truly disappointed with his death...he takes away the last remnants of sunshine from Maya’s life & from the show!
