Earlier too he was in love with her but being in love and thinking of a serious commitment fr lifetime r 2 diff things ..after coming out of SR , he was thinking of a serious commitment of sorts bec when that chuha billi task happened , he spoke a lot about it to vikas gupta which we saw in most sneak peek vids but lots were edited out fm main episodes ..He was completely shattered post that chuha billi task ..From here Sana's side of love started after vikas made her realise where she went wrong ..

Vikas played a big role in their relation i feel ..
