Is it a sacrifice or convenience

Time and again we have heard that Parul scarified a lot for her son but I have a question can we call it a sacrifice? Without putting much efforts she gave away her son to her Rajvansh family to raise him . She could have done what she could and should have him instead . she took the easier route where she didn’t have to go out and struggle to raise him . This reminds me of Ishwari with her sheer determination brought her son Dev and hi sisters without compromising on her morals . (Shaheer other show ) .If Parul had at least tried then I would have more respect for her .

Today when Kunal is a educated successful man she is asked to give same place as Meenakshi . How fair it is to the mother who raised him . Meenakshi is a evil character but one thing is she gave Kunal a good life and treated him no different than Abir .Tomorrow if they butcher Meenakshi showing then I can’t do anything.Anyway these days characters are being butchered left right left .

On what basics should Parul get equal position in Rajvansh house . It’s not Baba’s house where both his wife should get equal rights . It’s his first wife paternal house where Parul has no rights .

It doesn’t happen often but I did feel bad for Meenakshi today . Like she said today no one should disclose to the whole world her truth without talking to her . Its not easy for a women to accept in front of whole world that her husband had a another wife and a son . Abir definitely didn’t handle this situation . His own problems with Meenu made clouded his judgment .Being a man he might not realize what a wife goes through when her husband has second family and I thought he was insensitive when he asked Meenakshi to treat Parul as her equal

At this point its difficult to defend or judge anyone. Parul hailed from a lower background and all that mattered to her was to give her son a respectful life which is why she gave Kunal to Meenu. I don't think so Parul would've even thought of raising Kunal on her own. And seeing her own son grow in front of her eyes calling her maasi is really difficult for a mother. The makers are trying to show this as a sacrifice.

Demanding an equal position is unfair. Demanding equal respect is not. To be honest I didn't understand Abir and Meenu's conversation. It was like they were talking 2 different topics. It's very rare that I don't understand Abir's views on his mom. I usually like it when he gives it back to her coz it is almost always logical. Today, it was out of place.

Seems like Meenu is a hot topic in the story these days.. I will skip Mishbir and Kuku and watch only for my lovely Meenu and her melodious voice....❤️

You wouldn't have to put in the effort of skipping KuKu scenes as the makers are already doing that🤪.

But after all this time, I was really glad to see a balanced episode.

Don’t know what actually must have happened actually but if we try to understand from how the characters are right now, I fully expect Meenu to have manipulated Parul in staying here at rv house.. Parul must be devastated at that time and at her emotional lowest after coming to the city and knowing that her husband was cheating on her and he had another wife and child..at that point it would have been really easy for Meenu to handle the situation and giving Kunal the same upbringing and her own name and a house for Parul to stay in, in exchange for her silence and letting her see Kunal growing up..

Also, I agree Parul was not mentally strong like Ishwari to be able to handle it all and raise her kid as she deemed fit... also she must have thought no way ever can she give the facilities and upbringing that he can get in this house.. she made some mistakes there..

I think Mishbir only wanted Kunal to call her mother, not anything else.. I don’t think they are trying to put her status similar to meenakshi.. also she never asked for her right, for Kunal to call her mother.. she was happy with whatever she was getting..

Lastly about Meenakshi treating Kunal similar to Abir.. I actually don’t think so, she has a pecking order kind of thing in her mind on the order of precedence that people take in her life and the topmost is Abir, though that doesn’t him more harm than good..

But she actually nearly destroyed Kunal’s life with kuhu wedding.. the blackmailing that he needs to save his brother, what about the guilt that Kunal would have gone through.. her ploy could have ended very bad if kuhu and Kunal hadn’t handled it..

Her desperation that only Abir would do the pooja..when it came from Kunal and mishti, that was because they understood the significance it holds in abir’s life, this coming from meenakshi, it was clear that she wanted her only son to do it.. the only Rajvansh heir... according to her..

You should definitely watch it for Meenu. She is the only one who is keeping my interest these days in the show Mishbir and Kuku are meh compared to her.

Maybe they are placing a lot of importance to the illegitimate tag in this show. For Meenu as well as Parul the legitimacy of their kid is important. Thats probably why Parul gave up her kid and worked as a servant in the same house. Otherwise, she could have worked as a servant in any house to raise Kunal.

Also, it can be perceived as a sacrifice technically, since she gave Kunal only the access to the advantages, while she herself slogged away in the house like a servant. Even her son saw her as such.

Regarding position in Kunal's life, maybe not the same as Meenu but she sure deserves respect from everyone and that is what they were all trying to do I guess, fighting for her respect.

Plus, Meenu we know is a master manipulator, we dont know what she myt have said to convince Parul that this myt be a great idea and Parul being the simple women she is agreed without giving it much thought.

Guess, there myt be more to this Meenu Parul saga for us to actually understand them.

Well actually I don't understand even if abir is illegitimate child why meenu need to accept kunal and parul at the first place because both abir and kunal carry the name of there mom's family rajvansh family belongs to meenu not to mehul. Meenu is still a women left by man the status of divorced woman is also a big taboo. The whole family belongs to naanu so even if mehul tries he cannot get the money through kunal by legal rights . As an illegitimate child both kunal and abir has the right to use mehul's name as a father but none of them used there father's name. Parul is an illiterate and weak woman so it is not possible that parul can do anything legally to snatched meenu's name as a wife . There is only 2 benefits which she got from parul. First she get a reliable righthand to fulfill motherly duties. Secondly if kunal was raised by meenu he will not harm abir and her in future by mehul's bad influence on him. In both the cases her act is not totally sacrificial but still a very mature and balanced but not a totally selfish act.

i will put in simple words....

for me parul's is sacrifice because its not easy for any mother to give her child and see him raising calling someone mother but she accepted it...

from parul back ground she illetarate and very simple woman... when parul came to meenu RJV's are not any business tycoons so they just had enough money and parul cant give what meenu gives but she gave her child for better future and its old age saga they give their child for adoptions to other familes if they wont have enough money to raise them or some adopt themselves from relatives as they dont have child or seeing their relatives family conditions they adopt if they have child also.. its most practiced in villages so parl a person coming from this back ground easily gave it for meenu...

meenu mein aaj tak muje genuinity nahi dika in both her sons case...

I agree with all the thing you mentioned but the main question is why parul did that, matlab Raajkot aayi hi Kyu, jab tak reason nahi clear ho jaata I mean story nahi clear ho jaati puri meenu parul ki I will not be able to relate to meenu
