Even the actor said the story is finite and all the characters were locked before itself. As the show is halfway through the script there is no scope of new characters without revealing the old ones. Most probably he could be one among the sinners.

Yeah he said that the start to finish has been already decided in the story for every character.. so this leap and all seems like untrue to me.. he is surely one if those sinners.. this maya madam has too many skeletons in her cupboard..
