They want to watch only brainless movies that will do not good to them and the country in any way. Plus a waste of money.

No one wants to watch a brainy movie in the theater with nothing fantastical about it. People have enough boring and tragic things do deal with in day to day life. If they are gonna pay 300+ bucks for a single ticket then they want entertainment. Message based films that mirror reality and push an agenda down the throat is simply not a cup of tea for many.

Baaghi 3 Does Well On Sunday

Baaghi 3 had good collections on Sunday as it collected 19-20 crore nett which gives it a first weekend of 52-53 crore nett. the film showed good growth of 25% especially considering the drop on Saturday. The growth was solid in in mass markets with some circuits going up 40% plus.

It was very important to be higher than the first day as when the first day is best without a holiday then a run after the weekend can pretty much be ruled out.

The film should get some Holi boost on Monday as it will be Holi in places though the official Holi holiday is on Tuesday. It is this holi period which gives the film a good chance of becoming a HIT as it can collect well for the next few days. The numbers of the last Baaghi film look out of reach and its about sustaining as well as possible over the next few days.

Baaghi 3 has had a good first weekend of 52.75 crore nett. The film has the baggage of an extraordinary 72 crore nett weekend of the last film of the franchise but as a standalone film these numbers for the first weekend are good.

The Sunday number of nearly 20 crore nett is solid result for the film considering it had clocked up just 15.50 crore nett on Saturday. It was not going to be an easy task to get over the first day business on Sunday but the film has managed that comfortably. The issue facing the film is very average response in the bigger cities be it a Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore or Chandigarh while collections in places like Patna, Surat, Agra and Bhopal are good and even very good.

Its not multiplex or single screen specific in these places, the multiplexes in Patna and Surat have scored as well as the single screen. The problem lies in the 200-300 bigger multiplexes where there are higher ticket ratings and its these which could have added another 8-10 crore nett to the weeeknd box office if they had performed.

There is the holi period from Monday onward with the big holiday falling on Tuesday which will see very strong occupancy from the afternoon shows. The film could have got a Monday boost at metros as its a holiday the next day day but the business of the film is not so good at these metros which may mean the normal Monday drop for the film. . The collections of Baaghi 3 are as follows.

Friday - 17,50,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 15,50,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 19,75,00,000 apprx

It's sad that such a terrible movie is making money and good content based movies are not working.

Ab yeh tiger se jaldi chhutkara nahi milne wala. Zero expressions, bad dialogue delivery only stunts and dance.

Solo Tiger movie has also kicked the ass of all the overseas friendly genre movies in overseas, yet people here shit on the domestic Indians lol. 😒

Baaghi 3 Has Decent Monday

Baaghi 3 collected a decent 8.50-9 crore nett apprx on Monday which is a drop of little under 50%. Despite the drop it is a healthy number and it takes the total collections of the film to almost 62 crore nett. The film continued to hold better outside the bigger multiplexes of big cities.

There is a holiday for Holi on Tuesday which should see a jump in business and even post Tuesday there will be some Holi leftover in certain places which makes it hard to judge the first week business just yet. It will take some time to know where this film is going after the Holi period is over.

Despite the film not hitting the levels of Baaghi 2 it has still done well till now and is on course to emerge a HIT especially with a good jump tomorrow but it will be Friday that will probably decide if the film becomes a theatrical HIT. Bihar and Gujarat continue to be strong and it seems the latter has only dropped 30%.
