Bangla sahib's ambience is unmatched. I love halwa prasad theirđđ. tbh I find Ajmer sharif quite over rated, I prefer small dargah's over it.. Even Haji Ali has better ambience..
Agreed mandirs these days are too commercialised but mandirs like bade mandir and iskon are lovely places. The best temple experience I had was in Somnath temple...heaven that place was.
I find Vaishnodevi too amazing place. You could really disconnect for 2-3 days and rejoice..
Well yes, very close to CP. I adore ISKCON and bade guruji's mandir. Amidst jyotirlingams i love trayambakeshwar. Its so serene, people so simple and the life is beautiful. I wish there were 3 of me,so i could live in amritsar, nasik and Banaras all at the same time... n look at me, stuck in Delhi
Mountains hold so much attraction and peace for me Wendy, i can sit outside any temple for hours there, just soaking in the atmosphere. I dislike the hurried lines at these famous places, let me at least have an unrushed minute to gaze my fill... agar aise hi dialogue maintain karna hai to i can do that sitting by a river or a mountain spring... the noise of the water induces so much calm.
