Hi5 uma! I live very close to bangla sahib and sacred heart, and some relatives are in ajmer. Ajmer Sharif visit is mandatory once a year at least. Same was true for my mom in amritsar, durgayana mandir, golden temple, deep singh ji ka gurdwara and then some peer baba ki mazaar, so its actually a part of the fabric..

I personally feel more at peace in a gurdwara or mosque, temples have become too commercialised now. Baaki i would rather sit outside a temple like jyotirlingam abd soak in the ambiance, the vibes.

Sikhs can b loobane, kamboj, ramgarhiye, jatt and so on.

People co-exist every where, initially jatt sikhs were indulged only in farming but time passed by and people got aware that farming is not only occupation, hence they started migrating to cities for better future of their children.

These days cities are having every kind of community. And same goes with villages too.
