I have not been to Punjab but from what I heard from Mom she said ours is old (pure) Punjabi language. That's what she has been told . But for me there is no much difference between Punjabi and Hindi except for few words and the slang.

hey yes badesha is jatt as well. there pind is beas near amritsar.

the dialects depend on where you are from punjab. like moga side, ludhiana side, amritsar and so on. if you speak proper punjabi theres a difference between hindi and punjabi.

lol just by your last name i know your jatt and i wasnt even born in india 🤣

also my first lanauge is english than punjabi. i was never taught hindi. but by knowing punjabi i can pick up hindi and urdu.

all 3 are similar in some sense :)
