But one main reason why I support the movie is bec the movie dint really glorify the wrong actions of kabir at all ..When he did wrong ,he had to pay price fr it ..He lost his doctor's licence after he was caught operating in drunk state and here Kabir could hv lied but he choose to speak truth and face the consequences even though that operation was successful ..

Also it was Preeti's choice to love a man like Kabir knowing well his dominating nature ..And in name of feminism everyone noticed kabir often taking preeti out of the class to spend time with her but everyone failed to notice the kind of ragging preeti was asked to do by the senior girls of that college when they asked preeti and other junior girls to strip their clothes ..Not a single outrage on the ragging scene ? Why ? Bec girls were asking girls to strip ? Kabir was a saviour there or else Preeti would hv been forced to strip ..So at times u need people like kabir if u look at bigger picture ..

Having said that I dont support all his actions ..He was wrong at many places and fr that he did pay the price by loosing preeti too ..

But did he give her a choice about loving him?

We had a discussion today in my french class, there were 2 teenagers arguing vehemently in favor of all his actions, ki pyaar mein sab jaayaz hai. Thats my only problem. They think because he got the girl in the end, it justifies everything. They loved preeti by the way,aisi hi ladki chahiye sabko. I'm not even sure how to respond to that

He did ..he never forced himself on her physically ..all he did was take his chance to woo a girl and she fell fr that wooing ..same like sid did with sana in bb house 😆..

One example is when preeti hurt her leg ,he took her to his hostel room ..all he did was sitting with her and giving her tution ..it was his way of wooing her ..Preeti here took first step and hold his hand tightly thus hinting him that she is ready fr this relation ..then first time they make love ..if she dint hold his hand here then who knows where the relation would hv gone bec eventually kabir moved to shimla (or was it manali?) after completing final year ...even then preeti stalked him all the way to shimla ..

I admired that character for his honesty and for focus in life, the way he handled his relationship when it was at its peak👏. The way he stood by his girl, the way he was ready to fight with anyone to get her in his life.

And yes he never lied and stood his ground even when he was wrong, he accepted that without blinking at all.😆

I cannot comment on that, probably because you don’t live in India ? And patriotism and movie is different isn’t it? Actually I have one problem, if I know that scene hurts me, I actually walk out or forward it while watching repeats 🤣. That’s the reason at times I don’t get courage to watch Sidnaz serious fights on repeat!
