tbh, I think he can pull off the angry man persona, he is normally also a gunda like personality, it was only post his movie debut he had became good boy.

His persona i always found sweet , regular boy next door type....even when he used to host on Tv , he had that goofy image.

He is always dilli ka ladka in whatever he does.

I am quite bored of watching him. Infact I watch his movies because of the content and not his acting. These shubh mangal, badhai ho, Bareilly, Vicky donor everywhere he looks the same and dialogue delivery style is also the same.

He doesn't live the character. For eg: Ranveer as muraad or Bajirao, Ranbir in barfi or sanju, Shahid in KS. Matlab woh intensity hi nahi hai bas content acha hai.

Ayushman aur Karthik Bhaiyya ke diminishing returns set in ho gaye hain.

He is very boring to watch on screen

He is like Aamir. People confuse his good script sense with good acting. Aamir isn’t that of a great actor like he is hailed. And so is Ayushman.

I completely agree. I enjoyed his performance in films but now it is getting repetitive.. Andhadhun was different, but post that its mostly been the same.

The whole small town story, guy with some problem template is boring.. sme kinda dialect and interestingly he aint the best part of such films its the supporting characters.
