Hi guys.... I silenty used to read all the discussions and enjoy them as I hardcored shipped sidnaaz but there are quite a few things that have been bothering me for a long time now. Hope you guys try to understand my point of view.
There's a famous ephigram of bob marley that says " the biggest coward is a man that awakens a woman's love without the intention of loving her" and this always reminds me of sidnaaz. I mean I want to believe that siddharth too loves her which may be he does as a friend but that's not how we saw them inside the house. All those cuddles, sweetalks, kisses, hugs stated otherwise. But after hearing all his interviews, it is clear that he doesnt want to pursue this relationship outside. Maybe she doesn't fit in his world or maybe there is compatibility issues but my main concern is that if he had no intention to carry this relation or whatever it was forward, why did he lead her on? Why send mixed signals? Why make her fall hard for you? We all have seen how it was sid who first showed so much affection towards her, subtly flirted with her, showed some jealously game, possessiveness and all that. Allright we can call it affection, care and healthy flirting as in "masti" and "leg pulling". OK understood but when the girl started harbouring some feelings, why did sid not clear his side of feelings? After Salman sir clearly told him that she is in love with you,be careful and maintain some distance, the least I expected was siddharth to either accept his love or give a clear no from his side. I was very happy when he went upto her to have a serious conversation but then again he ends up giving her mixed signals. He went even more closer to her, allowed her to kiss and hug and cuddle which only intensified her feelings for him but from his side, it was always dull. He neither said yes nor no which is the most coward thing one can do in a relationship. I remember shehnaaz had asked his twice "agar tujhe nai hai mujhse feelings toh batade, main abhi se apne emotions ko control karlungi" not once twice she had asked this, I remember and both the times sid preferred to stay quite. I mean common. Give the girl clear indication and stay physically away from her. Do not evoke feelings in her if you do not feel the same for her because it will only make her emotionally weak and vulnerable. Isnt this the basic and moral thing to do? And at last what happened, siddharth kept her hanging till the end. She fell madly in love with him and now in all his interviews he is saying that there is nothing more than friendship. This confuses the hella out of me as I feel being fooleded this entire time.
As much as I love both siddharth and shehnaaz, this part of siddharth is ethically very very wrong.
Ps. Just stated what I think.
