This whole scene for me was the best thing about the episode. It's what made the episode worth watching. He's seen more of the world than she has and is trying to protect her from the hurt he knows revenge will bring.

He is the anchor in her life , a day will come when Prerna makes peace with her revenge for Rishab

I'm having a hard time connecting with this kukki too. I can't figue why. Even the little girl Diya at basu house. Something is missing,
