Just watched as you had mentioned. My actual reaction is - Meh! Not because it's Jinn. Sometimes I had the same issue with Nazar too; for example the Daivik /s Davaansh episode. I feel to make it look spectacular, sometimes Atif goes overboard and it looks rather fairy tale cartoonish. So not a big fan of excessive VFX. But then again, bhar bhar ke dala tha VFX. So obviously people would go gaga over it.

On a side note, when Nikki asked about WU, I logged on in Telly Updates and saw much comments surprisingly. A couple of them were praising the chemistry between the leads. So had to watch it. Funniest part - the boy actually called the girl - Palak Paneer! 🤣 🤣 🤣

Even I watched and this was exactly my reaction too. Nazar did go bit overboard, but not till the extent it looked so fake. Yaha bhar bhar ke tha, and it was like cartoon fairytale and it looked odd, plus that whole swinging sword looked like fire cracker swirl and I had a great laugh. Plus, plus though they are covering up by running scenes, action is needed and the leads can't do it.🤣

About chemistry, it took me a long time to like NiyaRsh's chemistry also. I still prefer NiAz over NiyaRsh. But once I started loving PiyAnsh, I started loving NiyaRsh also.

I feel the connection between actor and character is bidirectional. When you really love a character, even if the actor fails at certain scenes, you give them some lease. I know I did. Then again, if you are a fan of a particular actor, you develop some inherent attachment to the character they are playing.

PiyAnsh as a couple set the bar too high and eventually NiyArsh too got to explore quite some variation. Not to mention the Khichdi they have been pakaoing this season. So we never liked the concept or leads in the first place and are quite critical about them.

But those of them who haven't watched Season 1 and watching Season 2 with a fresh perspective, they might enjoy it. Can't blame them. Although I felt a bit odd when someone said she liked PiyAnsh and also enjoying Apurv-PP. 😕
