Atonement : but ultimately it was Indira's story so all other chars were secondary in it so Rati will get max screentime. yeah I agree Mandira wala rape case ke baad hi his character got so weak. even show went downhill since then. worst was Rishi kidnapping track. they wasted so many epis instead they could've shown romance between Inshi after their marriage episode. biggest nonsense was Vidhit turning villain outta nowhere. it was beyond illogical. aaj taak samajh mein nehi aya & nahi justify kar sake why and how Vidhit turned into a villain 🤣 it was so unrealistic maan! worst track of the entire series. Sumit shined postleap too with romancing Zara.

but I agree his character has always been made out to be the scapegoat. his biggest asset was his unwavering and undying love for Indira which they butchered for no reason. remember that episode when Rishi's mom goes onto slap for the second time infront of Rishi, he grabs her hand from slapping Indira and tells her she hadn't been his mom he'd have broken her hand. He LOVED Indira TO THAT LEVEL. She was everything for him. his world. his whole identity. he lived and breathed Indira. he dedicated his entire life and in devoting Indira. Unprecedented love with no superiority complex or ego. selfless pure love. He was a zindaa laash after Indira's death. didn't talk to anyone. was under depression and lock himself up in barsati. would be lost in her memories. he was under her spell. aise type ka pyaar dikhyaya preleap mein. It was like Indira is one side & whole world is another side when it comes to do justice with Indira that's why it broke my heart when CVs made Rishi all that blunders in that phase when Indira was mentally ill and Zara would emotionally blackmail him all the time to do those things.

Chehra dekhe kaun pyaar karta hein yaar. Even that annoying pest Indu could understand the difference b/w face and seerat but dumbass Rishi couldn't. 😳

yeah. his best acting performance was Mandira's rape case.

Rati looked great with Mrunal as well as Rohit. I loved Husna & Kabir track. wish it was executed nicely.

Btw what would Rishi have done if Indira had come in normal state without being aware of her existence and Rishi is already to Zara or Indira gets normal while Rishi is still married to Zara. did he or would he planned to have 2 wives together at home?

Another thing which I'm never gonna understand why did they used to play bol na halke halke on ZaShi & convinced viewers into believing Zara is Indira if they had some other plan & never wanted to prove her as Indira. It messed up the whole storyline IMO.

Btw have you noticed one more thing Rati got best outfits & looks and styling as Husna and Zara not when she was playing Indira!

Mostly because it had been eight years and Rishi had turned into a frustrated desi husband from a robust lafanga so when Zara entered Sharma Navas, it was refreshing to see old Rishi feeling alive again. Specially since Zara was married to someone else, and Rishi doing lafangapan 😆 eyeing someone else's wife with a wife and kid of his own, was something only Sumit could have pulled off due to his boyish charm.

I think the production team had some issues so they kept degrading Sumit and kept uplifting Rati's screen time. I really doubt that Sumit got any space to shine through since his victory in the Mandira case. He got beaten up by each and every member of Sharma family for no good reason at all. Its like Sumit might have hurt some big person's ego or advance during production.

I had actually liked many sequences separately and that haweli and surrogacy issues were also nicely executed. Then hide and seek of Zara and Indira in the haweli was also nice. The only thing I didnt like was reducing Rishi's character to just an object. In the last months, he did not get enough screen space or any good dialogues either.

I had actually started watching it due to Rahil Azam as I was a big fan of him. But then I got stuck due to ZaShi. I have watched the sequence when Zara entered Sharma Navas for the first time and Rishi thought it was Indira so many times and then whole drama between the three of them. When Khan and Shweta caught them here and there every other day and their masti with Munna and Master ji. Only after Indira's entrance, I had started watching the initial episodes. One of my favorites were when Rishi kidnapped Indira and then few days later, they got married accidentally , that was a nice track as well. But Rishi's court fight was the best imo. Sumit trully shined in that track.

There's an episode during the double role track which hits him hard & was weeping silently in his room thinking about Indira's mom words how Indira is nobody to him now. She's become paraya! plus his love came out when he saw Indira dying infront of his eyes the illusion created by Zara. he used to call her shrimati ji infact said "meri" shrimati ji infront of Zara thrice so he was partially responsible for Zara turning full psycho. that's what never made sense to me in HD. he could never make feel Zara secure that's why she kept doubting and demanding to prove his love for her. Issa facr Rishi wouldn't have even looked at Zara if she didn't have Indira's face. that's why makers made it seem like Rishi only loved Indira's face. It seemed like classic case of rebound. Cuz Zara turned out evil so he went for the second best available option Indira. He chose Zara over Indira only cause Indira was mentally unstable who couldn't fulfill her desires at that moment like every desi man expects. It did make him look shallow and put him under bad light. Do you really think he'd have chosen Zara had original Indira come back in normal state? no way! plus when he fell for Zara he in a way fell in love with Indira all over again which he never understood I feel. I remember him referring Zara as Indira few times even after original Indira came back as mentally unstable. lol. Tho Rishi did take care of her and treated Zara shabbily unknowingly for Indira after he got married to Zara but he couldn't stop Zara from mistreating Indira in that condition either that's where he failed..he didn't protect Indira as much as he should've. that's why I felt Indira should've moved on with kabir guy & led a new life. but I'd have to see what Rishi would do had Indira come back in normal mental condition or Indira regained her sense & memory when Rishi was still married to Zara. cuz cvs chose the easy cliched wayout to reunite Inshi that's why it seemed forced reunion because of circumstances. not an organic one. Rishi should've realised and gone back to Indira on his own not because of Zara turning evil. That Kabir guy was loyal to her atleast unlike Rishi who changed his stance when Zara asked her will he love her or can take Indira's place if she's not Indira. thats why all that romance left a sour taste in my mouth after they showed Zara isn't Indira. cuz it made no sense and making Inshi reunite. mekers are fool.to think viewers can swallow whatever crap they'll show they don't get it they care about characters more than same actor playing double role in the same show. actress might be same but Indira was the central character why would they be ok with ML romancing FL's identical on the show even after original Indira came back. no wonder ZaShi couldn't create the same impact of Inshi neither in TRP charts till mentally unstable Indira came back. all those typical romance between ZaShi was no use of it neither viewers aur woh feeling nehi raha or they care about those moments anymore after the double role track. that's why Inshi shouldn't have reunited. At every moment Rishi admitted he loved Zara. I can't enjoy those scenes anymore now when I watch on TV cuz I know it's been revealed Zara isn't Indira. I'd never get it why did they get ZaShi married twice just to end them within 2 weeks? and I couldn't connect or enjoy Inshi scenes post reunion either after 8yrs after everything went between ZaShi. I couldn't love their scenes as much as I used to. and for some reasons Inshi were shown having fights & fights only after reunion. with some occasional romances. which weren't great scenes either. They didn't show Rishi romancing Indira crazily either after they reunited & Getting her back again after 8yrs. most indigestible stuff was the same woman Rishi was pinning for 8long yrs couldn't even give father's love to indu was so lost & living on barely on Indira's memories. he unloved that woman and called him zimmedari. jiske bina woh ek pal bhi reh nehi pata tha. how could makers show something so ridiculous.

btw tho it wasn't shown what do you feel hypothetically had Rishi found out Indira's still alive but in mentally unstable condition who would he have accepted as his love or would he still have gone ahead to marry Zara even after Indira's return?

biggest BS them showing Indira jumping from the pyre and getting saved from fire. and surviving with brain tumor of last stage for 8yrs 😆 and how she landed to Pakistan, became mentally unstable & went to asylum they didn't show or could prove any of the things🤣 kiya kachra bana diya tha. it should've gone off-air after Indira was shown to be dead. plus Rishi truly never redeemed in my eyes or regretted for what he did to Indira. or nahi pura sach bataya use how and what he's done with Zara when she was absent or wasn't in her sense. he wasn't honest with her. he told her he had only kissed her on neck nothing more than that when Indira was interrogating him was a pure lie. Rishi did everything with Zara except consummation.

That was just stupid of CVs. Who would have thought that there will be an identical twin of his wife roaming around? Rishi was right in assuming that Zara was Indira. I think Rishi was never able to accept that Zara and Indira were separate people and by the time Indira came back, he had already promised Zara to marry her.

I think if Indira had come back in a normal state, Rishi would go throw the same, but then it would be more difficult because Indira would do tit for tat with Zara, the way she did in the end and Rishi would not fall for sympathy. I think he did enough justice as much as he could. He was never the responsible type of guy, if you remember the starting episodes. Because of his irresponsible attitude, he never got any benefit of doubt in any situation. He was always considered as the culprit just because he was easy going.

The entire Kabir storyline was pure nonsense just to bring twist without any reason. We never got to know Zara's past or how Khan affected her life. Kabir was as loyal to Indira as anyone else would be who would not have come across within an identical twin. 😆 The woman we see in flashbacks in Lahore with Kabir was nowhere similar to Makan Milkan Ji as we know. So I wonder who he was in love with. I think he was in love with that personality which emerged after Indira lost her memory. But that personality died when Indira regained her memory. So how could Indira love Kabir afterwards?

I think if Rishi came to know about Indira in unstable condition before that showdown with Khan, he would have run away to his Shrimatiji. But after Khan was shot and Zara was all alone, he started to think that he was the central figure to Zara's scattered life. So ina way both Zara and Indira were his responsibilities and thats why he became so serious and dejected because he never liked responsibilities. He was the naughty guy the one we saw in earlier episodes and then with Zara; that was the real Rishi Kumar.

The logical ending would be showing that mentally unstable woman as Kabir's wife and Zara as Indira.

I think he did not fall in love with the face. He was just desperate for his wife and was looking for one reason to find some peace and love in life. It was more like "doobtey ko tinkey ka sahara". It was less about evidence and more about desperation to believe that his Shrimait ji was alive.

I prefer Zashi because it gave so much positive screen time to Sumit and he always looks like a person who would run away with someone else's wife. 😆

If they both were normal at the same time, he would have come back to Indira in due time. He could never have a functional marriage with Zara because Zara herself didnot know who she was. She was struggling more than Sumit to accept that she was not Indira. But then who she was? Poor dear never got the answer, and thats the reason she jumped ship.

I still remember how Rishi used to stalk Zara everywhere, would continuously exploit her into making her believe she's Indira, flirt with her and try to get physically close to her. Then there's another episode when he romances her infront of everyone in drunken state.

I don't expectl logic in ITV shows but how can Rishi even continue to believe (or he was pretending or faking to make her convince she's Indira so he makes Zara fall for him & have her idk) Zara and Indira are same even if they shared similar traits. I agree they had shown Zara posing in Hitler style too by having her hands around her waist but there were many slight hints like they never played zindagi jung hein tune or song on Zara the theme BG of Indira "tad tadta tada ra tad tada" 😆 and biggest proof was Zara's DNA not matching with Indu's. Zara never having flashbacks of Indira's old times. but Then there was another episode where Indu goes to god with some paper if Zara is Indira or her real mom or not stg like god's signature like happens in ITV shows but once Indu goes away the yes paper falls on aisa kuch hua tha. I really don't know what the CVs were upto if their original plan was never to show Zara as Indira or not yet Rishi continued to go after her despite knowing everything. I mean he was like DNA reports proves nothing. Like seriously? he wasn't someone who's this dumb. But I genuinely wanted ZaShi to be proved as Inshi otherwise the romance and marriage should've never happened in the first place just to end ZaShi within few weeks after their marriage. Then during the Mahasangam episode they showed whoever gets married in that place are destined to be together forever yet Zara turned evil next week. Why create something beautiful just to tarnish it next moment. I wanted it Zara as Indira mainly cause it'd not have butchered Rishi's character and it'd have proved Rishi right that he was right all along in recognising his Shrimaati jee. His love can't go wrong! Tho it sounded good on paper about human conflict and psyche. but execution (Rishi being torn between 2 women) was poor! I wanted all those romantic scenes for Inshi which they created for Zashi. Tho I was bit against of the idea a feminist character like Indira having EMA. But there were many instances after Rishi accepted her as Zara, where he's seen telling Munna's 2nd wife off Indu's "real mom" obviously he was hinting at Zara will come back soon. Was he still in delusion that Zara's Indira? then he told Indu Zara's her mom when Indu told him after coming back from her trip that real Indira Sharma is alive & she'll bring Indira back, it was after Rishi was narrating Indu about his lovestory with Indira and everything about Indira in detailing. Was he trying to convince Indu she's her mom so she gives her nod to his marriage with Zara cause he had promised her he'd not take any step without her permission. Cuz he knew Indu's never gonna agree. Few mins ago in the same episode he was telling her wish Indira was alive then they'd have been living happily together by now. I also saw him getting emotional and teary-eyed while talking about Indira to Indu. There were many such moments which gave the impression of Rishi is still in love with Indira. Then there was another convo with Indira's mom where she asked Rishi if he's gonna marry Zara even if she doesn't turn out to be Indira he said yes. I get that people have right to find happiness & peace and love in life & can fall in love for the second time if life's give you chance. Nothing wrong in that neither I held anything on that against Rishi. There's nothing wrong in accepting another person in your life after 8yrs your love died. It's his choice but it looked he was still in that zone Zara is Indira. Cause he was talking to Indira's frame regarding his proposal to her. Then his talk with Indira's mom made it look like he was still considering Zara as Indira. Idk Rishi's portrayal was so fickling throughout that track. But Rishi was too desperate to get married to Zara. He shouldn't have taken such a drastic step without letting Indu know which led to all the mess had he attentively listened to Indu or let her know that they're getting married things wouldn't have gotten worse. Also, he had promised Indu. He did break his own promise but he had the fear of losing his beloved for the second time from his life which is also understandable to an extent.

See I agree. Rishi was in a tricky situation. it'd have killed him & his guilt had original Indira come back in normal state after ZaShi marriage. Things would've made way way too complicated and tougher if Indira had come back with her sense intact. Rishi sayad khudhi pagal hojata and wouldn't have any solution what to do. He'd not have been able to show his face to her. That's why I feel he did take advantage of Indira's mental condition. He could've done better during the whole track And I'm not blaming him when he went after Zara despite knowing proofs are against her & he always claimed to love Indira only and none can take her place in his heart/life which isn't realistic or possible in real life. He can and has rights to fall in love twice in life. it was understandable when he couldn't stop himself from going after Indira's identical cuz people naturally fall for someone who looks exact same as your love who you loved more than anyone in the world & ik he promised to love Zara as Zara and proposed to marry her & got married BEFORE he came into know about original Indira's existence. But I didn't like the things Rishi was shown doing. I get that he felt/claimed to have loved Zara back then, wanted to be with her & was married so in a way if he had chosen to be with Indira and left Zara he'd be unfair and cheating on Zara but he could've stopped many things. Zara mistreating Indira right infront of his eyes, throwing her down the stairs, then taking her to mental asylum then he himself taking Indira to asylum on Zara's blackmailing. He should've told Zara off he can't leave Indira in this condition, what Indira had meant to him, infact if not for his love for Indira he'd have never fallen for Zara at the first place, so much Indira had done for him selflessly in his crucial times when there was none Indira was there for him but when Indira needs him now the most he can't leave Indira and start a fresh life with her immediately. Also throwing Indira away from her own house made no sense. Calling Indira his zimmedari it kinda diminished Indira's worth in his life. Even if he felt he doesn't love Indira now he should've told Zara Indira's will always be special to him. Tho I agree he couldn't leave her asylum & brought her back but the fact that he did agree and took her to asylum, then remarrying Zara in Indira's presence by deceiving her own daughter & her trust and feelings and agreeing to be part of Sharma members plotting was another blow to his character, then romancing Zara and was about to kiss her even after Indira came back, then was about to have their late awaited wedding night, all those romantic talks & eyelocks, finger intertwined etc. infront of everyone during their post marriage ritual ceremonies in Sharma Nivas or eyelocking in their suhaag raat room (which was Indira's room by the way and Indira was present there) in Indira's house after Indira came back to her house... I felt he insulted the love & memories he shared with Indira by doing all those things his character did get butchered. He should've thought about it. Imagine how would have Indira felt if she ever got to know about all these things in detailing after she came back to her sense or Rishi facing the same had Indira done those things to him. That's why I feel Indira should've walked away & got her sense an memory back (when he was still with Zara and felt he's in love with Zara not Indira and wanted to move on in a new life with Zara) from his life then Rishi would've understood his wrong-doings and Indira's worth & redeemed in viewers eyes. He should've told Indira the entire truth. Do you really think Rishi would've dared to pull these stunts off with Indira's sense & memory intact after he finds out Indira's alive? that too in her house in her presence? No way! He should've been much more vocal for his support for Indira when people used to call her mad etc. He used to get offended but didn't stop them. Another thing idk if you remember or not Rishi was shown to be feeling uneasy and uncomfortable with Indira's touch at times when she was mentally ill. Idk if it's cuz of Zara to prove his loyalty and love towards Zara, it mostly happened when Zara was around them. I don't remember him hugging Indira tightly in the whole track except when he took her to asylum since Zara was being way too insecure to give her assurance since Indira was his ex-wife and looked same as Zara. It was more like consoling whenever Indira went crying hugging him. Even for old times sake he could've done many things better. He did come across selfish and ungrateful in that track. Also he brought Indira back in the house for Indu's health and was happy when Zara agreed to bring her back. Hypothetically speaking I really dunno since CVs didn't show if Rishi would've brought Indira back if not for Indu. Indu was the only one who I feel truly stood by Indira like a rock in those days the only time I grew onto like her in that track. She did all the things undoubtedly which Rishi couldn't/didn't was shown to be doing but he should've. See Indira's the central character, Zara might have been played by the same actress but viewers would obviously expect Rishi the ML to choose Indira as his love and people would connect & support and sympathize with her over Zara & can't accept the idea of Male lead loving and deciding to choose and move on with the identical over the original female lead even after FL came back no matter if she's mentally ill or not or ML is legally married to the duplicate. They've had already formed a connection with Indira. Why would they be okay with that! Indira faced so much in life. She lost the most precious 8yrs of her life and was living in darkness. They just made things way way too complicated unnecessarily. What I wanted from cvs is to show Rishi making heartfelt apology to Zara for ruining her life unknowingly and admits that he's always had loved only one person that's Indira and take divorce & both part their ways. And Zara going away & letting Inshi reunite. They could've ended Zara's character on a high note and give her dignified exit without going the cliched route of turning her vamp. When he claimed he loved Zara then how come he developed or his feelings for Indira came back within a few days right after he got to know about Zara. Aisa thodi hota hein till that point he thought he had romantic feelings for Zara aur Zara ke feelings jane se and his hate for Zara kiya kisi dusre keliye feelings mein convert hojata hein kiya. You may start hating someone that doesn't mean you start having feelings automatically for another person by default. When you admit you don't love someone now woh aisa hi rehta hein achanak se pyaar wapas kaise aa sakta hein. Woh hate shuru hua woh stance jaisa hein tumhara Indira keliye feelings bhi change nehi hosakta overnight. Once you move on you move on or you have never really been in love with that person. Period. This is where CVs made the show beyond stupid. It takes time to move on and accept. Kabhi pehle se pyaar phir dusra. Dusra galat nikle toh pehle se pyaar and you go to back to her. It's like he can jump into different ships whenever he wants. He got to enjoy & have fun with both women.

But I truly believe Rishi didn't accept Indira as his love not cuz he felt he's in love with Zara or married to her or legally no longer Indira's husband cuz the biggest nonsense they showed after Zara track got over was Rishi referring and treating mentally unstable Indira as his wife and started claiming his non-existent rights on her without ever remarrying. He was still legally married to Zara, he never took divorce from Zara. Just cause she went to jail their marriage don't get cancelled or Zara's no longer his wife. She could have claimed rights on Rishi and as his wife after completing her jail sentence since as per law she was still Rishi's wife plus Rishi and Indira never got remarried after their 8yr leap reunion. They got back together without ever remarried. How ridiculous & illogical. That show made a mockery out of love and marriage. The main reason Rishi didn't accept Indira was her mental condition IMO. Remember Rishi was frustrated cause Indira couldn't speak when he was about to have se*ual relation with her right after Zara was sent to jail. even tho Indira was all decked up as a beautiful bride but Rishi said you're not my Shrimaati jee despite being my shreemati jee. So his so-called love for Zara or marriage to Zara was never the reason imo. Feelings don't change overnight even if you start hating on someone or you claimed to have no feelings for a person and then you are all in love with the same person in one day. Also, Zara turning out to be murderer or when Zara was proved to be the culprit that she kidnapped Indira, didn't have major affect on Rishi I feel. His feelings for Zara went away within a moment unlike when he thought Indira aborted their unborn child in pre-leap, Rishi although slapped her and said he hates her now & her face, didn't want to live with her anymore and broke up with her but couldn't really stop loving her and his feelings for her stayed intact in his heart & couldn't go away from her which wasn't case with Zara. He couldn't love Indira or feel romantically for her when she was mentally ill. He was adamant to move on with Zara even after Indira came back cause he might have thought Indira would never fully recover or recover sense. Every man has desires from their woman and fulfil their need which mentally unstable Indira couldn't have done. He couldn't connect to her romantically. No wonder he treated Indira as a little kid back in those days! He even told Indira's mom, Indira's not with me despite staying with me. He can't see her in this condition. He wants the old Indira back. He says the same to her right before Indira starts speaking the night before Indira meets Saheb. If he wanted he could've easily accepted Indira back then! Indira could remember and loved Rishi even in her mentally unstable condition which makes her the better and mora loyal character than Rishi. Rishi did fail in the loyalty department and did all those things in his sense.

But I truly believe Rishi could never really got over Indira, her image and memories. He always knew but refused to admit or couldn't realise and was confused that he's always gonna have special feelings for Indira in his heart and he'll be always be special to him & his life even he's not with her or he's belonged or married to or claimed/felt he's in love with Zara now. He could never really detach himself from Indira. He was emotionally connected and attached to Indira which he didn't have Zara. Plus ZaShi equation got weakened and cracks started showing ever since Indira came back. When he lost Indira for the 2nd time he probably understood what Indira means to him and he can never get over or forget her or live without her or stay away from her. Infact he got restless the moment he got to know Indira's been kidnapped. Also, he always had trust issues with Zara I think. He couldn't form his understanding or bonding and relationship as strong with Zara as he had with Indira. Maybe cause of Indira's comeback. It never developed. But I liked that track of Zara was shown as an insecure wife who's jealous of husband's 1st wife who's her identical. 😆

Remember when Rishi slapped Zara right across her face when ZARA was like she's afraid if something unfortunate happens to Indira, Rishi always does things afterwards not when it should've been done. Like he should've slapped Zara when she was forcefully taking Indira to asylum infront of his eyes but when he slapped Zara, Zara wasn't truly at fault. or when he suspected Zara as one of the culprits even before Zara was proved to be the culprit. Then he throttled Zara tho they didn't get any solid evidence against Zara! Then do you remember when Rishi hugged her while taking Indira's name when she was in Indira's get-up to help Indira recover & said you're my Shrimaati ji/Indira. 😆 Then when they were about to leave Delhi after Indira's supposed death. He again took Indira's name to refer Zara. Also when that doctor came & asked Rishi what were the best memories of Indira's in her adulthood. He was reminiscing the special moments he spent with Indira with a broad smile and narrating their lovestory to the doctor right infront of Zara. This is why I feel Zara wasn't wrong to get insecure & doubt Rishi's intentions and love.

Go through the same as in? Indira had decided to leave Rishi at the end tho. if Zara proves she loves him more than Indira does & Rishi couldn't recognise her which was pretty dumb track. They could've easily asked eachother some personal question was only shared between eachother & not known to any third party in that way Rishi could've found it out who's original Indira. Indira did tit for tat cuz situation was different back then. Had Indira come back after ZaShi marriage. Knowing Indira's sacrificing nature she'd happily walk away and would've never tried to come between them try to claim her rights on Rishi or break ZaShi off and handed Rishi to Zara.

Rishi tends to fall for sympathy tho.

yeah it was. But Kabir did so much for a stranger by putting his own life into jeopardy. His love for Husna was no less than Rishi's love for Indira before the leap took place. I meant Indira never gaining her memory or if she gained I'd have wanted her to lead a new life without Rishi after she got her memory back. After the whole ZaShi track and all those typical romance marriage between them afrer Indira came back then calling her responsibility, it didn't make any sense. I couldn't accept Inshi getting back together. I wished to see same type of romance between Inshi after reunion like they did for Zashi but hua hi nehi aisa kuch! neither they showed Rishi loving or showing same passion for Indira like he had shown for Zara or Indira before the leap. I've already mentioned the justice part in the previous paras. True we never really got to know about Zara's past. Such a trash writing.

No. No. I mean Had he come to know about Indira's alive and her mental condition right before he got secretly married to Zara in Mumbai or when he proposed or after the proposal of marriage to Zara. Who would he have chosen to be with as a lover Zara or Indira? would he have married Zara even after he finds out real Indira is alive that too in mentally unstable condition. If Indira wasn't mentally ill Rishi would've no way gotten married to Zara after knowing about Indira's existence.

Btw, what do you feel who did Rishi love more between Indira or Zara since he was shown to admitting or he felt he was in love with Zara at that time!

Yeah agree with you. But they had already showed Indira's fingerprint matching with mentally ill version. Plus she had flashbacks of Indira and could recognize Rishi, Sunaina bhabhi and her dad to an extent and every medical and scientifical proof went against Zara being Indira from the start itself.

I think he did not fall in love with the face. He was just desperate for his wife and was looking for one reason to find some peace and love in life. It was more like "doobtey ko tinkey ka sahara". It was less about evidence and more about desperation to believe that his Shrimait ji was alive.

I prefer Zashi because it gave so much positive screen time to Sumit and he always looks like a person who would run away with someone else's wife. 😆

If they both were normal at the same time, he would have come back to Indira in due time. He could never have a functional marriage with Zara because Zara herself didnot know who she was. She was struggling more than Sumit to accept that she was not Indira. But then who she was? Poor dear never got the answer, and thats the reason she jumped ship.

Do you remember when Zara asked him is he gonna love her even if she's not Indira, Rishi was stunned and started moving backwards with after Zara's question. Then Rishi was feeling helpless in his room and was talking to Indira's frame & asking is he gonna cheat on Indira if he accepts and loves Zara? I so wish cvs had shown and ended up doing that & was hoping Rishi would say NO. But cvs made him propose Zara in 2 days after Shweta left the house with divorce papers. Rishi took no time to propose Zara for marriage. And I think after mentally unstable Indira came back I feel Rishi was giving assurance to Zara that he loves her now and didn't want to admit that he still has feelings for Indira so she doesn't leave him. Then who really Zara was for him or what did he saw in her or love her for or was in love in her? Did he not love Zara cause he saw Indira in Zara or loved the Indira he saw in Zara, if not cuz of having similar traits of Indira's. Cuz CVs made it seem like Indira and Zara no different personalities for him. Zara was like Indira 2.0 for Rishi. I agree he was desperate for his wife Indira but when his real ex-wife came back he wanted to be with someone else that's why I guess karma would've played fair had Indira chosen to be stay alone or with Kabir after she got her memory back. There's no way he could go back to from Zara to Indira without even redemption. I agree about the desperation part he was once about to consummate his marriage with Shweta seeing her Indira's get-up and hallucinated her to be Indira. Then when Indu asked Rishi how Indira was & all. Rishi replied Indira's was just like Zara only. Then after their marriage in Mumbai, when Rishi got Zara to a saree store to get her new joda the store keeper started saying Rishi always used to buy sarees from their store then Rishi started having flashbacks of Indira. But when Zara asked him what he's thinking he straight out lied he's thinking about Indu. Idk why! Sometimes I wish Zara should've directly asked had he gone after her if she didn't have Indira's face. I'd love to see what justification or dialogues cvs would've kept for Rishi. 😆 Things would have gotten worse had Zara turned evil after ZaShi consummating their marriage. Btw would Rishi have forgotten Indira had Zara appeared in next few months right after supposed death of Indira and moved on with Zara since it'll be proved anyway she's not Indira and Rishi was about to move on postleap too after 8yrs after promising he'd love her even if she's not Indira. or he'd always have Indira's memories intact with him in his heart & always had a special place in his heart/life had original Indira never found to be alive? cuz he had always said he believed someday his Shrimaati jee would come back to his life but then he goes onto propose Zara for marriage and accept her as Zara. or he completely erased Indira and his memories right after he found out DNA reports not matching with Indu's & in that episode he says he knows his Indira will never gonna come back, he'd start living his life happily and in peace & would move on and keep her memories in a box so it doesn't affect him. He went with wooing Zara. What about those my heart says Shrimaati ji, eyeing on her and running & stalking her. What was all those things for Zara or Indira? Did he ever love Zara as some distinct person or seperated Indira's persona from her? I think best ending would've been showing Indira die, Rishi having heartbreak and should've gone off-air or Rishi moving on in a new life with Zara but Indira will be be special to him & have special place in his life & heart so are gonna be her memories and showing Indira's no longer alive. In that way they'd not have ruined the Inshi lovestory by bringing Indira's back in mentally unstable condition and Rishi calling her his zimmedari and the blunders afterwards. The former would've been far far nicer ending. 😭

Where did all the love go out of the window in two months? he pinned & longed for Indira all these years (8) and when she came back, he wanted to move on in a new life and to be with someone else which I'll never understand. What did CVs gain by showing and doing this to Rishi's character? When someone is physically/mentally handicapped, your true love comes out. Rishi loved and showered love on Indira when she was all fine & mentally fit. But all the claim of loving Indira till last breathe etc. when real time came to prove his loyalty and words, he failed.

Also, I didn't understand one thing I mean when Zara confessed her feelings to Rishi, Rishi was referring to her as Shrimaati jee and then in next scene he was like "ZaShi... Zara aur Rishi ki prem kahaani likhi jayegi" sth along those lines. And then again in next moment he was like Shrimaati jee you've come back. Then towards the of that episode he was playing with Shweta's hair thinking her to be Zara/Indira and was telling some romantic sayari and at the end he says "ab toh rooh mein bas tumhi basti ho Zara...". What makers were trying to prove or show? 🤔

What do you think hypothetically speaking what would Rishi say or what justifications or got to say for all the mess after Indira getting her sense back and tell her if Rishi was still with Zara then? would he have completely moved on with Zara in a new life and left Sharma nivas forever? and what would've happened to Indu? What position Indira would be holding in Rishi's life after that? Just ex-wife. past/1st love and mother of his daughter? Nothing more than that. Cause living with 2 wives is impossible and unrealistic. It can never happen more so it's illegal. He'd have always had to choose one woman out of the two. Viewers would always want ML to choose the original FL organically not through cliched route by turning the identical villain. Rishi was saying even Zara's his love when he went to report case against her to police station.

btw even ZaShi's scenes which weren't romantic or before their first confrontation or face to face interaction, their first meeting in Mumbai etc. were faar faar better executed and styled & directed than Inshi scenes. I think Inshi consummation & their last intimate night during Indira's brain tumor track were the only memorable romantic moments I can think of Inshi in the entire HD series 😆The first scene where Rishi meets Zara in her house but couldn't see her face but could hear her voice and feel her (Indira's) presence in her and in the house then while setting up the fuse in her house everything reminded Rishi of the times and moments & memories he shared with Indira then when he first steps in Mumbai he says to himself there's something special about Mumbai..He can never forget anything related to Indira or touch or her breathe. He remembered the times he had with Indira in Mumbai and Zara was passing by in the car in the same frame then even in Zara's house Rishi remembered those moments when he had always set fuse of Indira's house when he was with Zara & in her house doing that in dark. Infact they made their first interaction or meeting in Zara's house was done in such beautiful step by step which had created so much hype and anticipation. They always used to combine those scenes with by using old InShi scenes in the same frame scene by scene to make viewers into believing and root for Zashi as Inshi then why did they not prove Zara as Indira is beyond me. Then expect us to to not get pissed off and believe Zara isn't Indira. Why the hell did they hurry up and rush Zara's confession & made her fall in love with Rishi and confess her feelings to Rishi within few weeks right after Zara entered Sharma Nivas? why did they show connection between Zara with Rishi & Indu? Very very stupid move. Idk if they didn't have anything else except triangle track so when Ashiya (Shweta) decided to leave abruptly, they had no other choice and threw the most unexpected and unpleasant googly by bringing in a mentally unstable woman as the original Indira outta nowhere and made things way too complicated & planned another triangle drama with more melodrama this time by having double role track with Rishi's past and present love.

Btw ironically Indu was shown to be doing all mummy mummy & went to severe critical deadly condition when Indira was sent to asylum didn't do 10% of or had any major effect or brokedown after Indira's supposedly died for the 2nd time or had any shock reaction whereas Rishi was shown to be maximum and deeply affected with Indira's death. He could feel Indira's presence everywhere. 😆

Actually before the leap HD's base was story centric so was the content. Romance was never the highlight or in focus or they cared enough to put effort or give attention in details to romance part unlike in postleap where cvs actually started showcasing romance as the main plot & baseline of HD during ZaShi lovetrack.

How would Rishi have come back to Indira if both were normal at the same time especially after promising to accept/love her as Zara and then MARRYING Zara. Indira ko kiya jawab deta. Due time but how? what would've made him return to Indira? They've functional marriage anyway I feel. They had court marriage too in Hindu rituals plus Zara was wearing joda, aalta etc. then after their marriage in Mumbai she was wearing all those stuffs which every Hindu woman wears like bangles, vermilion, earrings etc. that was never the issue.

She was struggling because she was never convinced or sure. She had identity crisis. Rishi always made her believe she's Indra. He was desperate and wanted her to be proved as Indira only at any cost! That's why I feel Zara should've never gotten involved with Rishi without having knowledge or sureity about her own actual identity.

Btw suppose had real Indira come back with or without memory intact after 8yrs not identical Zara. what would she have done? She'd have gave into Rishi's wooing like Zara did knowingly that she's breaking off a home? or she'd not by thinking about Shweta's feelings cuz she was the one who got her married to Rishi before her death.

Also, I don't get it why cvs didn't show Rishi showing same passion to have Indira back during the Kabir storyline like they had shown Rishi going mad after Zara when Malik Sahab angle was going on. Infact he decided to let Indira go with Kabir at the end.

Have you noticed during that track Rishi hardly referred to her with either Indira/Shrimaati jee or Zara's name. He used to refer to her in 3rd person singular noun most of the times. idk why!

Btw I feel after all the exploition by Rishi and Indira's family into making Zara believe she's Indira. She somewhere deep down wanted to be proved as Indira especially with original Indira's comeback. It made her insecure and broke her down. Her confidence and identity. She was also looking for to know who she really was. She wished she was Indira mainly cause of Rishi I feel cuz she knew deep down as she's seen Rishi's love for Indira and his love for Zara came through from Rishi's undying love for her Indira and her image, portrait in his heart and memories. She might have thought Rishi would leave or fall for Indira all over again if/ever Indira gets back to her normal self and her memory. Cause she was the original one Rishi had fallen in love with 8yrs ago.

Do tell me besides from taking care of Indira and calling her zimmedaari what kinda feelings Rishi had hold for Indira back in those days during the track when she was mentally unstable and he was married to & felt he was in love with Zara. Kuch toh zarur tha. Indira wasn't a non-entity or nobody to Rishi for sure!
