I don't know,I think it is okay. Ranbir fought for her in diwali, kidnaping etc but she didn't get to do that for him. By the end of MMS track itself you can see that she trusts him and considers him as a really good friend. And Maya track was the test and she passed it as she knew he'd never do anything like that. But she didn't have to go through all that to prove him innocent like lying and all which she is again even if it's for a good reason but she did it anyway. His own family didn't do anything but she did. Obviously she wouldn't do this for anyone and you could see slight attractions now and then whenever there's a physical contact but since they both hated each other back then,they didn't really pay heed to it. So the rain was the first time she actually acknowledged the physical attraction as well. And then the phone call where she didn't chide him for talking about them as a couple and the car scene where he says that he knows nothing will happen when she is there. You can see how protective she is of him when she warns Maya. And then the dance gave her the butterflies and actually made her think about it. Even now she doesn't know what she is feeling. But all she needed was a little push to acknowledge everything. And during Maya track only they are properly spending a lot of time together without fighting so it's a little easier for her to fall for him while in his case,he realised it whilst they kept fighting and he thought he was in love with Rhea so it feels like he took longer time to acknowledge than her. And for Prachi,she needed time to trust and see that ranbir is a good guy and a friend and once that's done,I don't think it's hard for anything else.

Besides she is still yet to accept her feelings and even if she does that,she should see that ranbir genuinely likes her too and then she should break the family, societal barriers etc. So I don't know I feel like it makes sense.

Does anyone else think that the precap seemed a little intense? Like something bad happened and he is suddenly asking her to never leave him

Yes the maya molestation track is the first time where they have both jointly been there for each other but got the opportunity to really be by each other's side and work together, and by now prachi has learnt he is a really good guy, so her trust for him has built up too, hence why now it makes sense she is showing attraction for him. Learning to trust ranbir was the push that she needed only to fall for him.

It's like they've decided this is her set look with curly short hair and that's it. Even when they try doing something different with her hair in the show like adding braid details, it's still curled.
