Honest confession, after Sid my favourite contestants were Paras / Mahira. And that too since the first month. Despite Sid and Pahira being at odds. Shehnaaz hadn't come in the picture in the first 3 weeks for me. These two were such odd balls and unlikable that it intrigued every literary bone in my body.

I suppose I have a thing for "jalebis", colloquial term of our region for people who aren't what they seem. This is not the right thread but I have spent a lot of time thinking about the similar backgrounds of Mahira, Paras and Sid. All three coming from middle class single mother households and yet no sense of victimhood. Very resilient psychologically, all three of them.
