Yeah seriously they could have shown anything.. and revenge track could have started with Rudra only.. they needn't have shown rishi angle itself.. sometimes ppl try to overdo .. ITV audience who watches regressive shows brains are too fixed to understand complicated relationships..

I think he was added later in the story to give the story some dark edge making Maya madam a murderer.. it was not required.. to be honest rishi and Ananya both were useless additions..
