Maya won't let him.
If you try to kill the king at your first turn while all the pawns are alive, you are bound to lose. The queen will eat you alive.
You have to first target the pawns, bishops etc. and let the king escape. Then checkmate when he is distracted and running zigzag for life !!!

Honestly it's funny to think actually Anatra got a brain & she played her game 🤣 I mean she was kind of making us fool too . We used to laugh over her character sometimes pity her , thought what even her capabilities r worthless vamp she is 😆 .
