I don’t understand under what circumstances the show could be banned actually. This would be quite interesting if it happened. The show’s content is no worse than any MTV show. Plus it’s a late night slot. It just breaks away from the family image of the channel but that’s for the channel to decide how it wants to redefine the slot perhaps since they have captured a high TRP time slot that’s not been possible for any Hindi GEC until now. If it’s a matter of Irani or Javdekar reacting to tweets based on humanitarian grounds, then the channel would merely inform and assure them that Sana is given off on weekends. So I don’t see now a ban can be technically effected. So my surmise is that if the show shuts down it’s likely to be more of a TRP and cost benefit mismatch issue than anything else.
