I have been watching old sidnaaz scenes

And one thing that struck me is that Sid was never conscious of the age Gap between them. If it was the case,he would have never gotten close to her. [And also he has dated a girl older to him (SS) and his close friendship with Akanksha who is 9 years younger to him are enough proofs].. but he was conscious more of the fact that Sana is really a naive girl and he don't want things to go wrong in regards to his relationship/bond with her. Considering the overthinker that he is... he observed Sana really closely and was always trying to decode her. At one point he understood she is a very transparent person. Naive and innocent. When he said to her "I am too old for you darling" he didn't mean the physical age but more of a mental age. He knew she is young and expects teenagish stuff in love. Like her lover should praise her, get her flowers,do filmy stuff,give her attention. (I know she is mature and understanding as well but she has filmy expectations which we have seen in the show) and Sid has overgrown all this stuff. At this point in his life he craves stability and not lovey dovey kiddish stuff. But nevertheless he fell for her and loves her in a very pure way without expectations and infact he is even ready to let her go if she wants to coz he thinks he is not suitable for her in the long run. I see he holds himself back coz he thinks they want different things in a relationship and they cannot work out in a long run. And he don't want to hurt her. Otherwise he would have gone ahead with her in the show saying I love u and accepting their rlsnhp but He is reluctant to go ahead with her coz of the totally opposite people they are and not the age.

After analysing Sid one thing is crystal clear that the man has been in some intense rlsnshps and has been through life changing heartbreak. He just puts on the facade of this tough mature guy but he is a total kid. He is needy, possessive, territorial,insecure and a stubborn kid who don't want to share his things with others. Jo cheez uski hai wo uski hai.

When he fell in love with her,he was restless and impatient, and this was something unexpected for him as well. First he thought it's just a liking and physical attraction in a house where there are not many options available. He fought his feelings. But slowly gave up.She literally guides his mood and affects him to an extent that he melts in front of her.This is something more than love. Like he said...she is his addiction who soothes him. And he wanted to see will it be the same outside as well or the feeling will fade away slowly.

When Sana asked him to say ki please ek baar mere ko I love u bol de. he said "aise hi nahi bol sakta'. He was serious about it. He will not say I love u for the sake of it coz he knows saying this to her is giving her a promise and what if he isn't able to keep it outside. Sana is precious to him. He really respects her for the person she is. He loves the fact that she loves him madly. He has craved such type of love all his life. And don't want to play around with her.

He will definitely talk everything with her very maturely and see how it goes.

And honestly after understanding their bond, I don't give a damn what people think about sidnaaz. They love eachother in a very selfless way. It's destiny whether they end up together or not but never in life question their love for eachother.

They may or may not end up as Life partners. But they are Soulmates.
