I don't know why this government is hell bent on killing the telecom industry. Is everyone ok with Jio being the sole player in this market. Cause it soon might be the case, Vodafone is already planning to shut down while Airtel is making no profit.

So you want mobile rates to go back to the pre-Jio rates?

See Jio has been a factor, not denying it. But problems are more internal than external. Both Airtel and Voda are capable, but are looking for excuses. Just like Aircel(my previous company) did. Issues is telecom industry is more due to its mismanagement, rather than Jio.

Also it isn't the government, but Supreme Court which isn't allowing waiver.

Jio strategy is not just hurting competitors but in long run it will hurt consumers as well. First it snatched customers from Airtel and Voda with all the freebies. Later on took freebies back like calling to other operators is chargeable now. Also, slowly introduced charges which were not even there before, like the 100 monthly mandatory minimum we have to do just to keep number active for even to receive incoming calls and that's annually 1200.

Healthy competition is always good... Jitne zyada operators hote utne competitive prices hoti hai

But do u think with no competition around the rates will as low as u see now? What about the services with such low rates? WIll they be the same? will it improve to degrade with time? I haven't said that telecom industry is in a mess because of Jio, I m saying they might be the only player left cause they are the least affected with AGR. Also the government back BSNL and MTNL are in their own mess too. The government is not helping them either, its not like they have to pay the supreme court, they are supposed to pay the government na, they can allow waiver if they want.
