So vikram could get arrested as per hotel contract clause if he cancels the function so he has no choice but to continue with maya's engagement in his hotel .

Did you notice how smart the whole thing with Rhea is? Even if people find her with Maya or something, they still can't point at her coz no one knows her motivation. And without motivation, there's no crime. Even ranbir doesn't know that rhea knows about his love for Prachi or how obsessive she is about him. So until someone gets a hint about Rhea's motivation,she is safe.

Also if rhea had actually been nice and acted atleast like she loved ranbir as much as she thinks she does instead of all this evil planning then atleast maybe Ranbir would atleast feel super bad and think about talking to her :3
