Violence and abuse is called true love. I have realised who formed the Kabir Singh admirers. I didn't have to go too far. It's right here in BB forum. It disgusts me. Sana and Siddharth have been toxic to each other- the man much more than the girl. When Rajat Sharma showed Sana slapping Siddharth twice and both of them laughing (Siddharth out of embarrassment and Shehnaaz out of some joy that she gets seeing herself with him) made me sick to my stomach.
Attachment, fondness and attraction are quite visible in their equation but so is constant mental abuse, manhandling and gaslighting. How can one normalise this toxicity just because two people feel for each other? Siddharth Shukla needs therapy. That man cannot tolerate dissent and thinks pushing, holding a woman by her neck is all part of a friendly equation. I will never forget how he gaslit Shehnaaz when she was fearing for her image after the PC. Is that how one consoles, shows the way to a friend or a partner, who is already doubting themselves? He took that opportunity to put all the blame on her and to show himself as the victim of her dubious game. And when she started crying, he went, "Ab ro kyu rahi hain? Yeh sab kya hai?" This is classic victim shaming. He needs to get his act right before he commits to someone, otherwise any woman with him will be left tolerating his tantrums and arrogance.
That fight between Siddharth and Sana over him saving Paras in the immunity task, when she follows him to the bedroom and he called her dirty. The way it played out left me shocked. This man, here, betrayed her trust and still blamed her for not understanding her. And the woman, clearly suffering from low self-worth, trying to pacify him and absorb all his ugliness. Partners can get really dirty in fights but that should not be normalised or romanticised. "He hit me but he loves me more so let me go back to him," is exactly what SidNaaz is. And that's what SidNaaz shippers also believe in. Such a dangerous culture. What Siddharth has done to Shehnaaz in the name of attachment is beyond redemption. So sure he tried doing the same to Rashami. Thank God Rashami resigned from that relationship.
