I had loved bajaj’ s reaction here. His matter of fact certainty and willingness to avoid drama was in complete contrast to all the dramatic people on this show.

Same in those final days when remember cookie by mistake broke Prerna’s mangalsutra. She and Prerna looked so scared but bajaj handled it minimum fuss. I really think given time Prerna would have appreciated this maturity and complemented him well. That’s why I wanted to see so much of how their relationship evolved.

that's what Bajaj is , isn't he the NO non-sense person with no drama, he observes ppl , understands the situations, estimates their reactions and only acts to an extent needed , reacts to only what's necessary, says only that part which he has to convey which elevates the intrigue and enigma of this character which allures us ..

she was giving explanations but he knows the reason she left and he accepted and didn't make a scene
same when he bumped into her in the kitchen after dance, she tried to explain that she was helping in kneading the dough .. all he says I didn't ask you anything I came here to drink water .. without creating any scene from his side , though he couldn't avoid himself from reacting to provocations

yess the mangalsutra is another bit , he handled it without making a fuss of it.. :yeh sirf shaadi ki nishaani hain .. doosra banwayenge ... " his one line and all the popped eyes and fussing lips were calm that's how maturely he handled things without making it awkward for anyone given any situation .

She would have understood and looked up to and appreciated and may be imbibed his maturity and understanding , only if she wasn't influenced and the premise was in bajaj mansion

the age gap and the opposite poles of characters had so much to be explored , a reservoir of potential .. her impulsiveness, his serenity, her misunderstanding, his understanding, her accusations, his explanations, her childishness, his maturity , his firmness, her liveliness, her drama, his no-fuss attitude would have found a common ground and they would balance each other

but this will happen when he is back and he will be.

Right that scene in the kitchen. I can imagine any other hero in the situation or heroine freaking out but bajaj was humara bajaj.

What you said about their contrast... hayeee no wonder opposites attract. And age gap in novels and romance is a lovely thing to explore... I daydream bout the time when she would have also started to notice him and get flustered... he would have been a delight to watch since am sure he would know what to do to tease and fluster...
