PR might gave DP good publicity and attention but PR cannot bring crowd to the theater. DP gave few 100 crores movies and she had good box-office record. In 2013, she gave 4 super hit movies. Her PR didn’t bring good box-office. So I don’t think you can become a star just by hiring a good PR.

Kriti Sanon could be considered an underdog she's doing performance oriented roles like BKB, Panipat and Mimi. There is something there.. an untapped potential and a sincerity without pretence which shows through. She has star quality.

Kiara from established lot for sure if she gets 2 more hits now she will be set.

Old lot either Jhanvi or Annie.

Kiara has that innocent look going for her and can act reasonably well enough, can do comedy and romantic roles. Not saying she will reach Deepika but even when Deepika started she wasn't anything great, Kiara hasn't got those opportunities yet.

In the girls, Sara for me is just cutting it, maybe I'll change my mind but her choice in movies shows she's gonna be the next Sonakshi, maybe Love Aaj Kal will be her Lootera 😆. Jhanvi and Annie are certainly not great actresses by any measure but its not about acting its about the right choice in movies.

Alia is not a superstar yet...she has yet to do a lot of work to continue a legacy. she is still pretty new in the industry..she needs to sustain this decade and close to the end of it, if she can do that with the same stamina/hype she has today. then thats her superstardom period.

same with shraddha...you cant leave her out..

Alia is pack of the herd for z gen. She sets an example for them to follow and now everyone wants to follow her lineup (too bad its way to priveleged so almost impossible to replicate). but id say jhanvi and ananya have the most back up

more stars will emerge in this decade, from the new lot. its way to early to say from the names you mentioned. its unpredictable

Star poocha hai superstar nahi..if Kartik Aryan, Ayushman, Vicky Kaushal n likes can be called stars then definitely Alia is more popular n successful than them..and has more noteworthy performances too. Alia se kya dushmani hai..

DP, Kat would fit in superstar category till last year
