I really doubt he played much other than making others feel that she is his, he was fighting his emotions about her and tried to get away from her, but he failed as she was pulling him Towards her like magnet, when he would be close to her he made it a point to show others their place, but with her he indeed tried to get out of it many times and terribly failed

He did play few love games to chk her reaction ..like spending time with mahira and aarti after chuha billi game and same time making sure not to distance sana completely by nonstop going after her just to taunt her ..remrmber the epi where vikas told zariwala about madly in love..i m talking about those days when sid made sure sana regrets and runs behind him ..he played it very smartly 😈...
