These two scenes are haunting. I go back to them again and again. The reason we connect to these two scenes is that Sid was in such an emotional state that the replies weren't thought out in advance. He usually prepares a calculated response to expected questions. Also he takes a little time to think over his words in a serious but organic conversation. These scenes were pure unadulterated emotion nothing else. The third is the single question he asked his mother, 'are you upset at me?"

Its amazing that after watching this man for almost 4.5 months we still haven't been able to decode / uncover him completely. We still don't know what goes on inside him.

I think she feared that she won’t get Sid and it was one sided emotion, from the time she has realised that she matters to him and she is equally important to him as he is to her and he too cannot stay without her, things have changed

Yes, she has. I was watching first few episodes again and the difference is noticeable.
